Job Overview
We are looking for a talented, passionate, and experienced Mixologist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, a creative approach to drink preparation, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cocktails and beverages while maintaining excellent service standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through creativity, presentation, and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard
- Create and present classic and signature cocktails with attention to detail and quality
- Engage with guests confidently, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and drink pairings
- Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area in line with health and safety and food hygiene standards
- Ensure excellent customer service and create a welcoming, professional atmosphere
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and bar preparation
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Work collaboratively with the wider front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, specials, and menu development
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist is essential
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service
- Passion for mixology and creating high-quality drinks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a team-focused approach
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and stock control
- Knowledge of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service preferred
