We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team HMP Wealstun, a category C prison located in Thorpe Arche, that houses around 900 patients ages 21+.
This role would suit an experienced Psychologist familiar with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma informed approaches and working with patients who have a broad range of complex presentations. The applicant will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
Hours
This role is part time working 22.5 hours/ 3 days per week Monday - Friday, we are flexible regarding which days are worked.
Salary
You'll receive a salary of up to £58,025 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Support the Cluster Lead Psychologist in training initiatives, developing clinical materials, group intervention packages, and in service evaluation and general service development.
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training, supervision and reflective practice.
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations.
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme.
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required.
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate.
- Oversee and clinically supervise an Assistant Psychologist in their delivery of low-medium intensity work (both group and individual approaches).

Requirements
- Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
- Collaborative working and the ability to contribute to ongoing development, adaptation, and delivery of psychologically and trauma informed practice
- Proven experience in Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychology
- Experience in complex, high risk or forensic environments
- Experience working with psychological Trauma
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player
