OPERATIONAL BUSINESS SUPPORT ADMINISTATOR – JOINT FIREARMS UNIT

We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Operational Support Business Administrator in the Business Support Unit of the Joint Firearms Unit. Could you be who we are looking for?

About the team/Department you will be joining:
The Joint Firearms Unit is a fast-paced dynamic unit working in collaboration with South Wales, Gwent and Dyfed Powys Police. You will work within a small team based in Waterton, Bridgend.

About the role and your key responsibilities :
You will be a member of the Business Support Unit, utilising several databases to input performance and training information to ensure the Joint Firearms Unit maintains its reputation as a professional department

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

We are looking for someone who can enhance the department with their professionalism, positivity, administrative skills and can-do attitude.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has already worked within an administrative environment, specifically in relation to inputting and retrieving data from multiple applications.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.

Please note, if you are an internal candidate and subject to an ongoing PSD investigation, your appointment or placement in the role may be delayed pending an outcome. Whether the role is held open will be considered on a case-by-case basis
