The Solar Labourer will support qualified installers and electricians on-site with the physical and practical aspects of installing solar panels and battery systems. No prior solar experience is required, but a good attitude, physical fitness, and basic tool use are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with carrying, lifting, and moving solar panels and mounting equipment
- Set up and clear down job sites (scaffolding, tools, waste)
- Help assemble mounting systems and railings on roofs
- Support the solar installers with panel placement and fixings
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy
- Follow instructions from electricians and supervisors
- Comply with health & safety procedures, including PPE and fall protection
- Load/unload materials from vans and help with general logistics
This can progress to become a full solar panel installer over time.
Pay: £500.00 per week
Licence/Certification:
