Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of hotel and Airbnb properties. The role will be a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, regardless of if we do or do not need any cleaning done during your shift. Additional hours will be required on busy weeks. You will work alongside a team of 3 others and some weekend shifts will be required, but will be shared between the team.

Working hours will generally be between 09:30am - 3:00pm, however we may have additional work outside these hours.

A travelcard will be provided to allow you to travel across London to carry out the cleans. All cleaning equipment and uniform will be provided. Travel time during the day (after arriving at first site) will be paid for.

Our properties are primarily located in: Canary Wharf/Greenwich, Islington, Kensington, Shoreditch/Hackney.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all guest spaces are spotless, welcoming, and meet high standards of hygiene. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in cleaning of AirBNBs or Hotels to a high standard to contribute to a positive guest experience through exceptional cleanliness and service.

Duties

Thoroughly clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas in accordance with established standards
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and consumables
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Provide friendly customer service to guests during interactions

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning of hotels or AirBNBs
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
Nice-to-have skills include cooking and customer service experience which can enhance guest interactions
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
A professional attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
