Overview
Raeburn Training is a young, dynamic Health and Safety Training company and are seeking to grow our pool of Freelance Health & Safety Training Instructors due to continued business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and growing training provider and support the next generation of industry professionals.

We are seeking instructors to support health & safety training across a wide range of courses including classroom health and safety awareness courses as well as plant and equipment.

We have secured a SCOTLAND WIDE framework that requires training delivery at a number of locations in the coming 2 years. We look to engage with providers close to the areas of delivery.

We also have a number of private companies that book with us regularly requiring training from our centre or sites locally, and the geography is ever growing.

The Role

You will deliver engaging, high-quality health & safety training to learners working in — or preparing to enter — sectors such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, and other operational environments. Whilst doing so ensuring that training meets the needs of the individuals as well as ensuring awarding body and company standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a range of health & safety training, including a wide range of introductory in-house H&S courses as well as certified courses with REHIS, CITB SSP and NPORS.
Support learners with mixed experience levels, including specialing in those new to industry.
Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, representing the company in a profession manner.
Adapt delivery to neuro-diverse learners and varying support needs

About You

Strong communication and presentation skills
Professional, approachable and confident in group settings
Well organised with strong time management skills
Comfortable delivering practical training outdoors
Competent in MS365 (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Committed to safeguarding, equality, health & safety and data protection standards

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Health and Safety Qualification relevant to courses taught.
Minimum of three years of occupational experience in a construction or health & safety related role
Minimum of three years experience as a trainer
Full UK driving licence

Preferable

Member of IOSH at Technical level or above
First aid qualification
