About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Fractional CMO London or remote to help businesses build, improve, and scale their marketing function without the cost of a full-time Chief Marketing Officer.

This role is ideal for a senior marketing leader who can combine marketing strategy, growth planning, brand positioning, customer acquisition, performance marketing, sales funnel optimisation, and team leadership.

As a Fractional CMO, you will work closely with founders, CEOs, and senior leadership teams to define the company’s marketing direction, improve lead generation, increase conversion rates, and create a clear roadmap for sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for:

Developing and leading the overall marketing strategy
Creating clear go-to-market strategies for products, services, or new markets
Improving lead generation, demand generation, and customer acquisition
Auditing current marketing activities, channels, funnels, messaging, and performance
Building and optimising sales funnels, marketing funnels, and customer journeys
Improving brand positioning, value proposition, messaging, and market differentiation
Managing or advising on digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing, content marketing, and social media strategy
Working with internal teams, agencies, freelancers, and sales teams to improve execution
Defining marketing KPIs, reporting systems, dashboards, and growth metrics
Aligning marketing strategy with business goals, revenue targets, and sales operations
Supporting CEOs and founders with strategic marketing decisions
Identifying gaps in marketing operations, team structure, tools, and processes
Helping businesses move from random marketing activity to a structured growth systems

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a:

Fractional CMO, Part-Time CMO, Interim CMO, Marketing Director, Head of Marketing, Growth Marketing Lead, Marketing Consultant, Marketing Strategist, or Chief Marketing Officer.

You should be comfortable working with founders and leadership teams, understanding commercial goals, and turning business objectives into practical marketing plans.
