Founded in 1989, Magnum propelled the ice cream category forward through creating indulgent premium ice cream products for an adult demographic. Supported by the ice cream categories biggest campaigns, Magnum is known for its distinctive marketing communication and brand activations, with recent campaigns recognised within the marketing industry with awards from Cannes Lions, Media Week and The Drum.

JOB PURPOSE

As the biggest brand in the UK Ice-Cream category, Magnum is the key growth engine of the category, executing some of the biggest innovations and marketing campaigns. As a result, we are looking for high performing, driven candidates that demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills, and a real passion for consumers. In ice-cream, we welcome curious creative self-starters with a passion for brands and snacking culture. The ideal candidates will drive the business forward through strong communication skills keeping projects and campaigns on track, collaborating with internal and external partners, staying curious about our consumer’s needs, and have strong attention to detail to ensure flawless execution of our brand strategies. This position requires a hunger to learn, understanding of the fundamentals of brand communication and in-market execution, including market trends, consumer, category and customer dynamics. RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an exciting and unique opportunity that gives the successful candidates the opportunity to work on an iconic global brand. This position will be primarily focused on supporting UK’s biggest ice cream brand through flawless execution of innovation, renovations and in-market execution across all consumer touchpoints.

Support the development of unmissable ATL marketing campaigns.

Lead digital strategy and execution of campaigns, managing the full end-to-end process including development of assets, testing and pivoting where needed.

Assist with commercial delivery of the brand, including monitoring/reporting of in-market performance & ownership of forecast assumptions.

Lead innovation projects end to end, including consumer research, competitor reviews, business cases and creating a supporting activation plan.

Work closely with customer teams, d-com and away from home teams to identify and action growth opportunities.

Responsible for budget management, in close collaboration with brand and marketing managers.

Support development of annual brand strategy.

Present brand plans to external customers and internal UK & Global stakeholders.

Partner closely with media and digital expert teams to ensure flawless execution in market, through development of full digital ecosystem ensuring cohesion of brand experience across consumer touchpoints (i.e. Online, In-store).

Weekly management of feedback from quality & consumer engagement teams.

IT literacy & Nielsen/Kantar understanding.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant experience in marketing preferable in CPG, snacking or ice-cream. Proven track record of performance where you are able to demonstrate your ability to deliver results either in brand growth or market share growth.
