Overview
We are a diverse business group in Loughton, Essex, with interests in property development, a street food market, and a tanning salon franchise.

We are seeking an experienced part-time Executive Assistant to support the Director across all businesses. The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, and highly organised, able to take ownership, solve problems before they escalate, and keep operations running smoothly.

The Role

You will report directly to the Director as his trusted right-hand, supporting the business and managing day-to-day operations independently. Your goal is to keep small issues from reaching the Director, allowing him to focus on strategic priorities.

This is a remote role, but you're welcome to pop in to the office from time to time if you want to. Each day includes a 1 hour call with the Director to discuss priorities, after which you will manage your tasks independently.

Duties:

Provide executive administrative support to the Director across all businesses
Manage tasks independently and proactively, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly
Diary and calendar management, including scheduling meetings and calls
Email management for business accounts
Communicate with partners, banks, letting agents, contractors, and other stakeholders
Monitor property-related financials, including rent payments and company expenses
Basic bookkeeping, including invoices and payment schedules
Act as office manager, resolving day-to-day operational issues
Telephone support for internal and external contacts
Provide daily updates and reports to the Director

Essential Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Reliable, professional, and can-do attitude
Bookkeeping experience (expenses, invoices, payment tracking)
Experience with Xero (advantageous but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative

Pay: From £20.00 per hour
