The Team/The Department
This position sits within our successful and market-leading Valuation & Investment Advisory team, which is structured across Commercial Valuation, Specialist Valuation and Investment Advisory workstreams.
The team provides a focused yet diverse range of services to public and private sector clients. These include purchase and disposal reports, asset valuations, option appraisals, secured lending valuations, credit assessments, alternative use evaluations, portfolio strategy advice, overage advice, and expert witness and dispute resolution support, all underpinned by valuation expertise.
With growing demand from both established and new clients, the team has ambitious plans for expansion. We are seeking a Surveyor / Senior Surveyor to specialise in valuation work, predominantly for private sector clients, with a focus on development and investment assets.
This is a pivotal role, involving the delivery of a wide range of valuation-focused advice and the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues across the team. Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Surveyor / Senior Surveyor to join our dynamic team, focusing on a diverse range of public and private sector portfolio work. This role is integral to the delivery of high-quality valuation services, primarily for private sector clients, including banks, lenders and property owners, across both development and investment assets throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Secured Lending Valuations: Undertake valuations for banks and lenders for secured lending purposes, producing high-quality reports for single assets and portfolios, including both investment and development assets).

Financial Reporting: Undertake valuations for property owners for year-end accounts, including single assets and portfolios.

Ad Hoc Valuations: Support a variety of instructions, including development appraisals, asset reviews, and viability assessments, to meet evolving client needs.

Collaboration with Wider Team: Work closely with colleagues across the valuation and advisory teams on diverse instructions, contributing to a wide range of projects and initiatives.

Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their objectives and delivering tailored valuation advice.
In this role, you will also collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including Planning, Development, and Agency, to deliver integrated, value-driven solutions. Qualifications:
Valuation Expertise:

Undertake property valuations for a variety of purposes, including investment, development, and financial reporting.

Apply RICS Valuation – Global Standards (the "Red Book") to produce detailed, compliant reports.

Conduct in-depth market analysis and apply valuation methodologies to a range of asset types, including commercial and mixed-use properties.
Client Advisory:

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, delivering strategic insights and recommendations.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:
