Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and proficiency in office software to contribute to our organisation’s efficiency and accuracy.

Duties

Inputting data into various databases and software programmes with precision and speed
Maintaining organised records of all entered data for easy retrieval and audit purposes
Verifying the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents
Updating existing records to ensure information remains current and correct
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management
Responding professionally to internal queries via phone or email regarding data entries
Generating reports from data systems as required by management
Ensuring compliance with organisational policies on data protection and confidentiality

Requirements

Proven office experience, preferably in a clerical or administrative role
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with data entry, QuickBooks, and other relevant software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Fast and accurate typing skills with attention to detail
Good phone etiquette and communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
Previous experience in administrative support or clerical roles is advantageous
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency

Pay: £45,000.00 per year
