Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen ability to create an enjoyable experience for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your excellent time management skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and local regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A valid personal licence or equivalent certification is advantageous but not essential.
