Job Summary
Mark Taylor Limited are recruiting for an accounts assistant/payroller to join a small, friendly, small finance team for a rapidly growing company based in Kirkby-In-Ashfield. This is a fully onsite, part time role.
We're looking for someone with all-round accounts and payroll experience to support the finance function.
The Role:
Payroll -
- manage weekly payroll for all employees, including new starters, leavers and updates
- submit payroll to HMRC and pension providers
- post accurate payroll records
Purchase Ledger -
- process supplier invoices, code and input
- reconcile supplier statements, prepare payment runs and handle supplier queries
- set up new suppliers
Sales ledger -
- raise ad hoc invoices and ensure all necessary details
- respond to customer queries regarding invoices and payments
- handling customer queries
About you
- experienced in payroll
- experience working across a full function finance department
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent Excel skills and confident with finance systems
- proactive, reliable and able to work independently within a small team
Hours of work are to be agreed to suit both parties, 25-30 hours, Monday to Friday
The salary is Pro Rata
