Used to Be Great—Now a Shadow of Its Former Self

This company was once a fantastic place to work before COVID. After going into administration, it was acquired by Bromford Group, which unfortunately made things worse. A few years later, they went out of business, and a management buyout followed—but instead of a fresh start, things declined even further.

The current leadership have introduced “RISE” values—Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence—but these are just words on a wall. None of them are reflected in how the business is run. The focus has shifted entirely to hitting monthly sales figures, with little regard for the quality of the parts produced.

Processes are broken, and upper management refuses to take accountability. Team leaders are left to pick up the pieces, while operatives are pressured to work faster regardless of the consequences. Employee concerns are routinely dismissed with a “not our problem” attitude.

Pay is below industry standards, and morale is low. The company is being run like a soulless production line, not a place where people or craftsmanship matter.

If you're considering working here, think carefully. The potential is there—but it's buried under poor leadership and a toxic culture.

Poor company to work for, bad ethics.  Toxic culture, poor management high turnover of staff, 
High pressure target orientated without care or duty to staff welfare 
Avoid !!!!

Micro time managed........poor man management skills of staff

Poor toxic them and us attitudes 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Highly stressful micro managed with unachievable targets. Especially if your face does not fit

Was a very good workplace that has over the years slowly declined to a less than average workplace paying less than average wages. Middle management is poor only seeing what they want. Clear favouritism going off. Happy to pay new staff who are under qualified same money as more experienced staff. Left to feel undervalued on the whole

Nice clean place to work, but awful management who are holding the company back. Do not listen to constructive criticism. Poor pay for the job you do. Avoid if possible. Far better places to work
