Typical day at work - start the day at 8:45 ready for the mornings brief, be ready and on the phones by 09:00. 3 sessions in the day, the first one leading up till lunch. 5 Passovers wanted per hour. come back from lunch at 1  for second session leading up till last break then its the last session of the day, by last break the team needs to be on minimum 10 appointments.  
What I have learned- I've learned I am capable of pushing myself more then I realise and I am more then capable of achieving targets under pressure and making sure my personal targets are achieved. I've also learned to not keep quiet and always voice my opinion and ask as many questions I need to if it helps me understand better. 
Management- The team leaders have a hard job with being Customer Account Managers for the team and the hard work they are under sometimes defects the fact they are team leaders and not always managing the team but where the department Is very close nit and hard working the management isn't always needed there. 
The hardest part of the job- Lead Generation is a numbers game so if one day you are doing amazing and the next day you're not its harder to pick yourself up from the bad day. 
The most enjoyable part of the job- Being able to work in a chilled out environment and making life long friendships.

I joined Aerial direct in April 2017 as a Sales Executive within the Business upgrades team with zero sales experience, just inbound call centre work previously. 

The management team were thorough with training, very fair and supportive despite it taking me several months to find my feet and start hitting targets regularly to start competing with the rest of the team, finally competing at the top end of the team 7 months in.

A fair basic salary with good commission, and bonuses once targets are hit. Decent incentives too, and huge fun at Christmas too. 

Not only were management supportive during my slow uptake into sales, they were incredible when they learned of my decision to pursue a completely different career, giving me the time I needed to attend various tests/interviews etc. 

All in all a great company to work for and you're well looked after.

So on a typical day at work, we start at 8:45 with a positive brief to get us going in the morning! Every day is a different day, you will never know what the outcome will be! Positive or not the managers are there to pick you up and keep you going.
I have never worked in an environment like it and can honestly say its probably the best job in terms of enjoyment, security, getting on with pretty much everyone, and money! 
There is always new incentives to boost the morale on the sales floor, which will always be something fun that everyone can do and enjoy!
The hardest part of the job for me was coming into sales when I had no previous experience, but with the training that they provided I was able to adapt and I am now succeeding in my role!

Overall I did enjoy my first two months working there.  But soon after those two months I saw lots of mismanagement, and also the manager not being there but criticising everything you do, when he should be managing the team. You are always stressed to get as many tickets done a day. I did learn quite a lot about networks, connect platform. Hr doesn’t not care about you. The managers do create a toxic workplace culture.
I never really got enough time to do the apprenticeship work needed. But the most enjoyable part of the job is to get those issues sorted, on the first point of contact if possible.

I have worked at AD for around 6 years now and have seen the company grow into what it is today. Our brand new state of the art office is an amazing place to work. The hours are very good and the early finish on Friday is amazing too! Working at AD you will always be looked after. The management from top to bottom are very informative, which has helped me grow into the Sales Person I am today. We are always involved in many different incentives which I feel is very important within sales. These range from weekends away to sky diving!!

Regardless of being a new starter or a long standing employee, everybody at Aerial Direct gets treated fairly and with the highest level of respect at all times. 

Having the privilege of working in a brand new, state of the art office situated close to the motorway makes getting to work easy and very accessible.

Working in a fun, fast paced atmosphere with endless earning potential and regular incentives makes Monday to Friday work life very enjoyable. With enthusiastic managers and a brilliant training team on hand at all time ensures confidence is high throughout the sales floor everyday.

The promises made in the interview process were broken the second my contract was signed. My manager knew less about the company than any of his staff, and the work load for my team was far heavier than we could cope with - not that the managers/owners cared, they often shouted at us while we were on the phone to customers and just threw their weight around. I saw people get fired for basic mistakes that wouldn't have been made in there was any training involved in the job.

Great company where many of the staff have been here for many years.
The main company focus is to delight the customer, ensuring repeat business and a solid business future.
As well as staff being here for numerous years, so have our customers.
This is a job that I look forward to going to each day. My targets and expectations are very realistic, and the pay is fair for what I do.

To sum up my job, if I were offered £10K to move to a different company, I would turn it down.

After a year of uncertainty I can safely say I have never felt so secure and supported in a role as I do at Aerial Direct.  All jobs were protected from the COVID pandemic and managers have gone above and beyond to ensure our wellbeing is a top priority. Now we're returning to the office gradually it's great to be back in the fun, collaborative environment we are all used to.
