I actually learned more than expected in my first few days. I was welcomed by the team and really got familiar with the campaign and client. By the end of the week, I was already comfortable with facing the clients. The company recognises the importance of having a motivated team. They balance it out nicely with workshops and regular social events. The first thing that I noticed was the welcoming atmosphere. The manager talks big and follows through on their promises. It’s good to see an efficient plan into action. It’s an environment for driven people. The team is competitive and ambitious. The training is accessible. Not the typical corporate environment. It’s dynamic, fun and social. People can interact with each other, train and network together. There’s an open-door policy so that people at different career levels can exchange know-how. There was a lot to learn and understand about the company during the induction process. It took a week for me to understand the system and start hitting targets. The feedback from my coach is super helpful and it helps me stay focused. The business environment shaped me a lot and it showed me how to deal with negative situations and manage my emotions. There are quite a few skills to pick up that will be valuable on your CV and that really help your development: time management, business development and negotiation.

The perception of leadership in this company is not based on the title but based on who is setting the example for others to follow. Actions speak out for yourself and your results show your skill level. It was not all about the targets. It’s also about learning how to work within a team while cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset. There are different career opportunities that the company offers, starting by teaching you how to be responsible for the development of another co-worker. I didn’t imagine at first that training someone was a more delicate task than just teaching them what I knew. Now that I have shown I can efficiently meet my targets with consistency, I can spend more time with the core management and learn directly from them. I am given more responsibilities, especially regarding team development and campaign management.


I started recently and I’m pleasantly surprised. There’s a positive environment. Everyone helps each other out. Good support when you’re new and still applies when you’re in a more advanced role. They have a brand new system of induction and initial training which I found engaging and very organised. The team is fun to spend time with. Learning and developing your skills is an important side of the company culture. The company culture is simple and positive. You learn, you practice, get results, re-evaluate yourself and then repeat. As long as you can improve and do better, you’re in the right direction. Good end of the year bonuses for both ancient and new staff so that everyone gets a chance no matter what their level is.

We are a determined team, we have challenging targets and fierce competition. The company promotes the idea of surrounding yourself with the best people and networking with those who have great results. Find mentors who can push you to be a better version of yourself. The growth of the company is 100% dependent on the development and growth of the team. We are always encouraged to find suitable challenges and new ways to improve ourselves. Promotions and career advancement are based on performance and that makes it a competitive environment. For myself that means recognition and I surely like to be rewarded for my hard work. Incentives are weekly for those who crush targets and that’s a nice extra.


Working with the team always brings positives, the first one is learning. In every team there is a leader that has more expertise and high standards for performance. The company is flexible and you are not limited to that person in terms of coaching. People progress from within and learn from the entry-level. Meaning the people at the top are design experts in their field. Once you hit your first promotion criteria you take on more responsibilities, which spices up your day to day and adds up to the challenges you face. This is a good opportunity to show potential for a career profession by seeing what you are willing to learn in order to get better.


There’s a lot of training offered and the progression opportunities are constant. The manager is the person who’s basically there to coach you and help drive your career. So that person is always the one to ask questions when you have an issue or concern or when setting new goals. The main skills I developed recently are my communication skills and entrepreneurial ones. Through coaching, I learned self-management. My manager helped me see what targets were being met and provided constant feedback on how to drive my performance. Now I feel like I can contribute more to the team and help others with their progress.


I started part-time this year and then went full time, not long ago. There was a lot to learn and catch up on.  From small workshops to customized training, there’s something to learn. I was introduced on day one to the people I could get to if I needed anything. This helped a lot in the first few days because every time I would have a question, I knew who to get to. I felt more confident knowing I had back up. I look forward to the opportunity and progression offered because the team is great. I really feel like we’re like-minded. There are some really good incentives along the way for top performers like social activities to do with the team

Do not fall for this! There is no salary, it is 100% commission based. If you are looking to join the company because the pay looks high, look elsewhere. During the pandemic the role was described as Covid-friendly; it was a free for all in the office and they acted like it was the Wolf of Wall Street. This draws young people in with the high 'salary' figures and 'bonus scheme', the latter of which you won't get if you don't make enough sales. You will be walking around for 8 hours whatever the weather and potentially make ONE sale that day, if that! Avoid at all costs!

The team is also supportive when you need a hand: coaches, mentors, colleagues and people who can show you a more efficient way to do your work. Performance is really important in our team because this is how we get promoted. Everything is based on merit and not seniority.  I really got to understand the selling process and get really good at training and follow-up. I think in direct marketing this is a most precious skill. The company promotes a competitive mindset and the workshops are really motivating. This really helps people understand how we can develop our careers. 


I worked for one year with determined and fun people. It was not all about the targets but more about learning how to work within a team while cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset. I like the learning aspect of my role. I think it’s quite rare for a company to offer ongoing training for you to learn new skills and grow a career. What’s important is to spend time with the team. Doing the workshops and going through the training helps achieve better targets, faster. I really got to understand the selling process and get really good at training and follow-up.
