I've so far enjoyed my time at Albany. When I first applied the job was known as Mobile Cleaner, it's now Team leader. Which is far more fitting given the sites we visit and the interactions we have with regular staff there. It allows us to advise them and give input without it feeling like we overstep any boundaries. 

It's hard working environment for the function we have, if you want to do the hours, you'll find them there. As a Team Leader you're on a salary, but any hour you work over your time, you still get paid. Paid for travel and bank holidays as well, which is brilliant. 

Weeks can vary a lot depending on whether people phone in sick, leave their jobs, or have booked holidays as we provide cover for all staff that go off. Some weeks you'll do your basic hours, others you might hit them doubly so. Weekend work is also generally available most weekends though isn't a requirement. 

Training for working with machines is available as well. I personally had this experience already, but we have a very friendly team that are all more than willing to teach any newcomer the ropes, which is good for any future jobs you might want to pursue. 

Pay is fair, and the director is understanding and easy to approach. Management is helpful, office staff are amazing support for us. Hopefully we are to them as well, as it goes both ways. 

If you're willing to put in effort, there's definitely a good future here. Communication is key though and it has to come from both ends, meaning our cleaners on site, and those of us who travel around and meet with them or manage them. We all do our best to provide support where we can, whether it be new cleaning systems to make life easier, new products, changes in work schedules or ordering new stock. Or just a general chat on how people are doing. 

Overall, a stable job for anyone who likes to work hard. 

I was not given any training just basically told where cleaning products were for me to use. I learnt most of what i needed from my colleague. 
I only meet my supervisor the day i started and then the day I left. 
There were only two of us working at the same building, it was nice because we helped each other when we were done with our own work. the hardest part of the job was when products were finished and we would have nothing to use, i would request more products but no one would get back to me.

I worked for Albany for 7 years, I love my job it works brilliant around my daughter, I go do the cleaning with the time limit I'm surpose to then go back home. Albany have been great with given me the hours I ask for and offered me more. I wouldn't ever go to another cleaning company if your looking for a cleaning job, Albany I would recommend. I even work with someone who been with Albany for 6 years he loves the job to. Albany is a really great company and I one lucky person to have found them. 

Hours are ok but only for extra income, couldn’t be your only job as not enough money considering not many hours however I had an email saying someone is leaving so extra hours available so I emailed asking if I could have the extra hours turns out if you already work for them they won’t give you extra hours because if you are off they find it hard to find cover which is stupid because i received the emails in the first place.

There’s no stress in working at the company.Everything is normal and excellent

It was ok in the beginning then when was ill couldn't cover your shift

I started as a mobile cleaner had plenty of various sites to clean which was great the staff and management were great too 
I just wish I had a van myself so I could of got to my jobs myself on time instead of waiting to be picked up by other drivers 
Other than that nice job 

I found that Albany do have their favourites when it comes to members of staff. When I worked for them my work was not appreciated at all. Best part of the job is starting early and finishing early

Nothing they don’t know what they are doing  they expect you to do more than is possible to do

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything they expect you to be in 2 places at the same time

overall, i would sa that this is an excellent company to work for. for the brief time that i was working there i really enjoyed the people that i worked with and my managers were lovely and understanding!
