I enjoy going to work and generally I arrive early, working day can be fast paced and varied, I get on well with the team we have a wealth of knowledge, across the board we have a lot of cultures who all work to the same goal (making sure the service user are well cared for) the hardest part of my job can be getting packages covered, sometimes it’s just down to branch capacity but we generally get there in the end, answering the phone and talking to people is a great part of the job and building a good rapport, I help other branches with all sorts of tasks from auditing, answering questions from branch and service users , I’m generally happy to help where I can

You don’t get any help to find clients houses.  Not enough time with clients. You don’t get paid for any breaks or travel time.  Basically it works out to under £10 a hour.   The fuel payment per mile doesn’t cover the fuel you use. Also you get taxed on it .  Also if you leave within a certain time frame you have to pay back training which is more than you got in the first place. 

Typical day is incredibly stressful. If someone else doesn't turn up to work you have random shifts thrown at you. Not enough travel time. Rotas changing daily. No work life balance. No recognition for anything you do. Lovely clients and they are very appreciative. You will be on a 0 hour contract when the staff from abroad are on contacts. Sad situation. 

Management had no idea what they were doing and were so rude, make out there's loads of benefits but they weren't actually available. Long shifts and no time for any breaks some clients are so far apart from each other and so no time is made, doesn't encourage good care of the client the only focus is how fast you can be in and out.

I work a standard 9 -5 day as I'm more of an admin role. I learned so much about care, which is clearly a vocation and not always easy, but the staff take the good days with the bad days and have a positive attitude.

Lovely company to work for, care about the staff -at times. 
Carers are the heart of the business and believe now they have had the recognition for that!

Very understanding of home life responsibilities and always finds a way to work around a busy schedule, management are amazing and supportive in every way possible.

Lack of communication, hours cut with no notice .If your face fits its fine but if you complain you are forgotten about and treated badly.Low morale within staff.
