If you work at animal farm adventure park you will never in your life me treated more like a piece of dirt and less like a human being in your life. i gave two years of my life to this business and never was treated like a human with feelings. the manager does not care about you and will not bother to learn your name. as he knows he can replace you with other young students for cheap labour. i was verbally abused almost every week. it was so bad i avoid my manger as much as i coukd. my mental health got worse because the manger made me so afraid of doing something wrong that it made me not want to work. he fired me for not seeing a bursted pipe and said it was all my fault. even though the pipes where old and rubbish and held together with string. its an awful place where everything is cheap and run down business that can barely get staff to stay for 3 months because of how awful there treated. Anyone read this spread the message and maybe the manager will know how to be a decent human being.

Lots of students just work the summer, have fun, make friends etc.
It’s also good if you don’t know what to do in life, as it’s very easy to move departments. I started as a part time kitchen assistant.
Moved to cook, then reception/admin.
This put me on my feet for an office role in Bristol

Negatives - Customers can be rude
Some staff clearly don’t care, and it is hard to work with them. They don’t last, but unfortunately there is often another one a few weeks away. Most are great, some are fantastic and great friends

Great people to work with (staff), animal care is priority mostly

Lots of walking , lots of making do and mending , constant eyes on all animals wellfare needs

Engaging with animals and people while also keeping the area perfect for the animals to live in is the best.

Mornings once your in you haven't got long for people to arrive.

It's a very Clean, spacious and quiet area to enjoy working in

Cleaning areas feeding and giving water to all the animals

stressful place to work with no back up when things go wrong, which they do constantly. Lots of unhappy customers as they arrive expecting it to be as advertised & a lot of the advertised facilities are not available.

Training was bare minimum. Pay was under minimum wage for my age. Animals weren't always healthy and didn't always have the best enclosures. Could have been a lot better. Some animals were stressed from being over handled.

Hated working at animal farm, was treated disgustingly, pay was bad and never right and they also treated the animals like dirt. Would never go back and don’t recommend anyone to go there. Get the place shut down

Horrible place to work. Manager is rude . No respect for anyone and no breaks given. Avoid would give no stars if I could. Wages not given after working weeks .

It’s good to work as a first time job, not really for someone wanting a later career. It’s a good starting point. Management are lovely, it can be very face paced and pressure to perform when busy 

Probably the worst run animal park in the country. Never get paid what you've worked. As for holiday pay good luck getting that. The worst owner as well!
