No day was the same at Nettos, From the start to the end every day was different and came with its lessons, good days, busy days and a few difficult days.
I gained a lot more confidence with my customer service skills working at nettos, as we were a busy store with hundred of customers a day.
I learned alot more on how to deal with customers complaints and how to think more on your feet and be able to deal with difficult situations.
My main role was working on the tills which meant dealing with customers all day long, serving them with brillaint customer service.
Helping with packing if needed, returns and complaints they may of had. 
We was a big team and all got along great. Helped each other when needed and worked great as a team.
The management at nettos was brillaint too, they was just as hard working as us all and making jobs more fun and the work place a safe and enjoyable place to work.

I started working at Netto's (now Asda) before the store opened to be trained, I was a sales assistant working on the check outs, I then was offered to work the "spot lines" which I had to look on the weekly leaflets and set out the sections and print out the tickets to show the item and price, I then put out all the label's /tickets in the correct place, I was also able to follow Polygram's and helped others put out the stock in the correct places. I also was in charge of cashing my own till up, I also would flat pack boxes and put them into the machine to be bounded together for which I was trained to do, I was also trained to used the floor cleaner, I also faced up the store did stock takes and replenished the stock as and when needed whist assisting customers with what they needed.

A typical day was to ensure all stock was worked, ensure the shop was clean and just generally enjoy your working life. I learned how to deal with customer complaints, and most of all how to ensure customers have the best shopping experience they possibly can. My management team and co-workers were a massive part of the job and without them the business would not of succeeded as well as it did. The hardest part of the Netto job was tidying the shop at the end of the night, due to the store being so busy it was always a struggle to complete the cleaning on time. The most enjoyable part was turning up and working with all the great people I met and still continue to speak with.

A typical day at Netto was fun as the members of staff and the manager were very outgoing. My hours would vary between 8 and 12 hour shifts in which I worked on shop floor warehouse and I operated the till. I also unloaded the delivery. From the experience I learned how to deal with customers, how to work with long shift hours and how to cope under pressure. My management was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. My co-workers were good to work with as a team and we kept each other going through the long shift. The hardest part of my job was the work load as we didn't have very members of staff. The most enjoyable part of the job was the atmosphere and the overall moral.

Either worked 7-5 or 10-8.30. Netto was simple, work hard and you will reap the rewards. Start at 7 bring in all deliveries, assist the team to get the job done. Once complete review orders for next day and adjust accordingly. Assist in serving customers throughout the day and ensure store was fit to trade for next day. Netto taught me that I could achieve anything through hard work and motivation. The team was extremely trained and motivated and was a very enjoyable time in my career. The hardest part of the job was very tough wage targets and limited resource. 
Most enjoyable was due to a small team we were close and almost family like and didnt want to let each other down.

A typical day at Netto consisted of stock taking, making sure everything is in it's right place, being ready to jump onto a till when it starts getting busy. I learned how to use a till, how to put food that is going out of date cheaper than the rest. The management was great, when I had trouble figuring things out they didn't force me to hurry up, they let me learn at my own speed, they helped me with every little problem I had. The hardest part of the job was working on tills, it was almost the most enjoyable at times. Your head has to be in the right place to get through the day or else you'll mess up terribly. 

I would start at 8am in the morning and finish at 8pm at night when I first started working for them, I would start by cleaning up the rubbish on the car park  outside, then I would have to start cleaning in the store  I helped bring in deliveries of stock, and filling the shelves, I did some work on the tills as well!  I  got on with the Managers at first until my hours were cut! hardest part of the job was the never ending back breaking cleaning I had to do all by myself! I got on well with my co-workers! The best part of the job was serving the customers!

Enjoyed my many years clerking at Netto.Built up 97 stores to about 150 that gave good company feeling of expansion ,but came not long before the bank crisis  in 2009.This expansion wasn`t matched by increased sales for very long period .Started clerking here and learned a lot in clerical role in the 11 years.Most people didn`t seem very happy towards the end of Netto.Running both voice picking systems and the old paper system was arkward .Receiving retention bonus for most staff when Asda bought the company for about £800,000,000.

dealing with customers.putting stock out ,dealing with customer complaints ,working to a dead line ,enjoyed everyminute at netto i worked there for 6 years ,i the hardest part of the job was getting the shop ready for the ceo coming ,iv learnt from my time woking in supermarkets that every colleague is different and there needs are not the same.so doing a rota that makes everyone happy could be difficult at times ,i had a good workind relationship with both my manager and colleagues i did different parts to the job we all worked as a team .

A typical day was; unloading the stock and merchandising, sorting tills/banking and keeping the store clean, safe and tidy whilst keeping an eye out for shoplifters. The ordering was straightforward but would have benefited from being more computerised - it probably is now. The hardest part of the job was the shoplifters until we got a great security guard! The most enjoyable part of the job was being part of someone's weekly routine, you get to know your regulars and what they like, so you can recommend new lines that they might be interested in.
