I have been employed by Assured Cleaning Services for the last 8 years, starting as an Area Manager when the company had only one other Area Manager, a small office based team and approximately 60 contracts across the North West.

Working remotely as an Area Manager, I spent a lot of time on the road visiting clients and employees, despite that I always felt part of a team and always had great support from managers and directors.

During the last 8 years, the company has continued to grow, and I have since progressed to Senior Contracts Manager. I am now responsible for three Area Managers and approximately 150 commercial cleaning contracts across the North West and East of England, alongside an ever growing team with over 50 years experience in the industry.

I worked for them for a year and was a good employee, I was good at my job, a great timekeeper and never asked for time off or ill. I worked 12 hours a week for them cleaning offices. I also did extra hours cover cleaning for them when they needed me at other sites. Without going into too much detail I was treated appallingly by them after an incident that was not my fault at all and caused by them not supplying the correct equipment and trying to save themselves money. I would have stayed if I had an apology but instead management tried to brush it under be carpet through fear of me trying to either make a claim against them or report them for unsafe working conditions. I left working for them around 4 years ago now and it still makes me angry how they treated me. I’m working for a good employer now so all has ended well.

I have worked for Assured and have gained invaluable skills and experience from joining them. 
They are a fair company that offer a range of opportunities to many people. The work-life balance is great and the support they give staff is outstanding. It is challenging dealing with multiple sites, and keeping clients and staff happy, although it is very rewarding which, in turn, makes it enjoyable. 
Being part of this company has improved my confidence and interpersonal skills that I may not of gained at another company. I look forward to growing more with the company in the future.

Check your pay always something wrong. promise overtime you will get this many hours on top for going on an extra job but you don't get paid for it.expect you to go in when you have worked all night then send you off to various places far away driving long hours and you don't get paid for driving hours. The company is very poorly run. 
Some of the lads you meet are good people then you have some that are nasty. Don't trust management tell you what you want to hear then nothing happens when they say it would. The company are all about themselves definitely don't care for the staff.

i would be based all over Lancashire. so i would travel to different sites.
i learnt to be understanding of individual customer needs.
i worked up to a supervisor in this role.
i made many new friends as a supervisor which made for a better working environment.
the hardest part was when staff didn't turn up and i had to explain this to the customer.
i enjoyed seeing a good working team working together and seeing the end product of our team work.

I have worked for Assured coming up two years, in my time here i have work across many different sections in the business with the intent of learning how the business runs through out. Assured are currently putting me through external qualifications to expand my knowledge.

Based at H/O the working environment is great, never a dull moment!

when i arrive at work i log in and gather all my cleaning materials and usually start in reception emptying bins wiping kitchen area and working my way round building. 
I find there is no hard part to my job and the most enjoyable part is seeing how clean the place looks when i have finished.
The people were i work are very friendly and nice and management are friendly and approachable.

Worked for this company once before and never again. The management is rude and 1of the ladies is stuck up her own backside.. Was wrongly dismissed through unfair dismissal without further inspection which is disgusting as wasn't given the chance to prove my innocents plus I had not long been back off maternity. Don't work for these shower if shites!!

I have found this company very relaxed but still professional. I have a fantastic area manager who is always at the end of a phone if you need her, and who is regularly on site checking myself and coworkers are taken care of. With 7-8 years in the cleaning industry I have never had a company put their employees before the client until now. Would definitely recommend.
