I loved the role itself helping the residents and learning more about mental health. I enjoyed getting to know the residents themselves all lovely people. However the manager is someone who has no idea how to manage. There’s favouritism, it’s very cliquey with staff and if you don’t fit you know about it. There’s no respect for you as a person you’re expected to be a robot which is ironic as you’re working in mental health. Just please save yourself the bother with applying and don’t. It’s not worth your time or effort and definitely not worth the upset. All because of the manager and lack of support which is a shame really. 

a lovely home to work in, nurses are encouraged to offer new ideas and implement into practice to improve the service and patient care, managers are approachable and listen to any new ideas.  A very family like culture amongst the staff,  care staff are also encouraged to share any ideas they may have. the difference between working for a large company and a smaller one is like night and day, staff are more valued here in this smaller company. managers are flexible with off duty and try to accommodate if staff are having problems. generally a very good home to work in.

Management useless and didn't know what they were doing or how to manage a team, expected to be available 24/7, which is a bit ridiculous when you've taken leave. Staff are not looked after and placed in situations which they should under no circumstances be placed in. I'd never recommend working here for anybody. The care workers do their best for the clients but management don't support clients at all.

Management is made up of a clique of dishonest, untrustworthy individuals who demonstrate a lack of respect towards junior staff. Management does not take criticism on board. You will also be told to give up your commitments as "work comes first." Avoid activities "team" at all costs, the manager regularly tells lies and you will be walking on eggshells everyday. Definitely was not a team, it was a hierarchy. I would not recommend this role to anyone. 

Working as Support Adult worker I have learnt how to take a care of the patients suffered from Dementia and other diseases. I have also learnt how to work as a part of the team, but also independently. My skills achieved at this care home include promoting and providing a high service to the patients and I enjoyed helping the others. However; the hardest part of this job is seeing people dying.

Great team of people to work with, great stepping stone to move into other care roles in this sector. They do implement a lot of inconsistent changes, some good some bad. The job isn’t bad but I do feel like management need to improve in certain things such as; more training more consistency for staff.

As a manager would never recommend anyone to join this company!!! Very very bad management, leave you vulnerable and not worth losing your pin over.. probably one of the worst care company’s to arise. Some antics that could be said but shall refrain,

This company has poor Management and it is a case of if your face fits.  The balance is not right for the amount of clients you have to the hours you have in the day. You also get spoken to very rudley and they take pleasure in bullying techniques. They are a very clicky company.
