Taken over from the last Team Leader then making sure every thing was in a safe and working order.I learned to look after the work force on my shifht and to trust them.Management were allways there to help or even to learn them self.Most of my shifht where from overseas which I found most intresting and challenging with all their different cultures and learning their language,

Good company to work with, weekly pay like a Swiss watch every Friday and Saturday and Sunday off. Hard work with hard people, if you have white gloves and fear of breaking a nail, look elsewhere...otherwise, if you're looking for a paying job...you're in the right place, great hourly pay and good management. Overtime work to be considered normal, two weeks closed in December and two in June. I love Balmoral

Easy going and busy depends on the orders

we are fully running manufacturing factory who never sleeps. 24/7 day to day production and quality is one of the main duties. I learn here how to deal with big pressure, control a lot of man power and how to see and use they strongest sides. I got more experience how to work  with engineering drawings, learn risk assessments, COSHH analysis and many many more.

Stress culture, everything last minute and urgent. Management don’t listen to safety or process improvements or concerns. Depends who you’re close with on how you get treated. Theres a difference between fast paced and unrealistic expectations in this type of environment. Their staff turnover is shocking as they don’t listen to staff concerns.

Job is ok if you are looking for a way into the industry and get a year or so experience. 
Management is challenging, no personal development plans & communication and employee welfare is poor.

very easy place to get along in  , had two spells with this company and would  go back again if the need arose and they were willing to take me , Balmoral was in the process  of managers changing positions just as i left the company

Very busy  and they try and have the next jobs relayed  so employees are aware of what is coming next so all can have some basic planning in place  for the start of next job

Not a terrible place to work if you can put up with the manager and the way he speaks to people. Its very hot and lots of dust from certain production areas

Good company to start your career. Strong management and interesting product lines. Plenty opportunity for improvements and internal promotions. Recommended.
