Really great place to work from the management, training, other staff members and the business itself is so clean and helpful.
The management and team leader are extremely passionate on their jobs but providing their staff the best training as possible, always patient and trying to get the best of what each employee could be, also willingness to work any job no matter if its helping cleaning dishes to making coffee to help the business run even in difficult or extremely busy times, I would say the management and the team leader they're all a real benefit for the benugo branch. 
Myself, the only reason why I left as is that I was offered a better role in a different industry.
The main things I loved about working in benugo is the encouragement in their progression of learning from every part of the business and that you don't feel afraid to talk about your own issues with the team of upper level employees. 
The team itself are very friendly and we all work as a part of a team which is why the customers always come back. 
If I wasn't offered a better position in a different company I would personal loved to progress within the benugo company. 

I would say that it was a great place to work but considering the amount I had to do I definitely deserved more money. Rather than just running a cafe, I was also running events and also organising them, there were never enough hours in a day to get everything done.

Also having to cater to not just the companies wishes but also the client who we rented the space from made the job very difficult as both had different visions and knowledge of the industry. Finally finding some sort of balance was achieved but not fully which made things difficult.

More corporate than you would realise. Supplier issues also and although given the freedom to experiment, not a lot stuck. Considering the companies size, getting any sort of new equipment was always a struggle and resulted in far too much money being spent to fix rather than replace.

My manager was amazing and work life balance otherwise pretty great. A few tweaks and this would be a great place to work for The long run. Shame it did not happen whilst I was there but I wish them the very best.

My typical day at work start at 7 am to open shop and be sure that everything is ready to serve customers...I manage 13 people of staff in the shop...we serve sandwiches salads coffee and provide delivery service for lunch and breakfast for offices around...my responsibility every day is to be sure that service for each customer is efficient and smooth...all products are fresh and ready to serve on time every day...to be sure that company policy and food and health&safety are follow.
The hardest job from beginning was built the good team and get all customers satisfy from every visit and be sure they leaving happy and coming back to us....since I took shop I train two new managers from my team and two supervisors...I managed to made budget two years in the raw and contribution...since I took over shop sales grew up 20% annually...
I do really enjoy work with my team and happy with my professional and friendly relationship with customers .... but apparently I decided move out from London to Leeds just why I applied for that job...

If you are attracted by the aparent relaxed and cool company culture, don't let yourself be fooled. Unfortunately, this company is extremely unorganised and this is due to the very poor management team who clings to their roles, but refuse to do the work and create the necessary processes to lift their teams up. There is no clear process for advancement, and if you try to come up with suggestions you will just be led on with false promises.
The people working here are generally nice, but that's about it. The general attitute of the people working here is generally negative, everyone is tired and unhappy, which is why so many talented people have left. 
You're expected to work unpaid extra hours (lots of it), with no recognition other than the usual 'we're in this together'. The truth is, you're not in this together because the pay gap between the senior management and the rest is pretty significant and shouldn't be overlooked. 
I would not recommend to anyone to work for this company, there are a lot of better options out there.

When I was first hired, it took about 7 weeks before I received any payment for my work. Pay is intended to be weekly; I was told payroll was on holiday, that it was due to management on-site not filling out my info properly (not true), and was promised every passing week that I would be paid. 

It took 4 weeks of me emailing the same person to ask for a resolution, threat of escalating the matter further, and consistent pressure on my superiors to resolve the issue.

This, apparently, is a common occurrence for this employer. I was not the only member of staff to have this problem, but the only one with whom the problem went on for as long as it did.

However, my colleagues and immediate management were brilliant. I wouldn't have left had i been paid for the work I did without having to fight tooth and nail for it.

The reason I gave such low rating because of the management I started to have mental health issues. One says one thing, 2nd says another... They contradict each other and if you say " "n" manager said differently" they will act like they're the boss. But this is just tip of the ice berg. Another example includes that management never stands up for their staff if customers are rude and aggressive. Had a situation when I had an aggressive customer and the management disagreed with me and gave me a disciplinary action. 
My fellow team members is the reason why I stayed longer in the company, because they were supportive and fun people to work with. 

In a normal day, first of all I had to count the money in the safe to check if everything corresponds with the cash up for the day before.

After that, I was in charge to set up the place and explain the people the important things of the day or if exist some changes. I've checked all the controls that we did for the fridges, food allergens, cleanings, production, etc ...

When everything was done, I had to design the break times and organize the people and the task for all day.

Start the service and be aware all the time if I had to do some changes, increase or decrease the production, attend customers in case if we had any complain or question.

At the end of the day organize the closing, and check that all the tasks are doing following the standard procedures and perfectly.

Sometimes I had to do the cash up, or just check that the money that we'll send to the bank it's correct.

Worked here for a year. It was nice rewarding work. Free lunch was provided from the deli, in addition to unlimited hot drinks on shift and occasional food to take home. Team members were switched around different tasks each day so that everyone knew how to do everything. Staff were mostly friendly, but sometimes slightly rude. You have to be very fast paced otherwise you can get a bit demotivated if you're struggling to keep up. Group meetings would be held to decide how to used tips, which would usually result in nice group meals out. I never got to train to advance as the person who provided the training never showed up. Hours would occasionally be cut if business was slow, which isn't good if you're living paycheck to paycheck.

-Typical day: Extremely busy mornings at the coffee shop, you are serving customers, making coffees, sandwiches, providing hospitality services in a meeting rooms if required and by the end of the day doing some accounting job.
-I have learned how to have fun and work productive at the same time. I have improved my communication skills and gained some knowledge how to do accounting job.
-Management is great, sometimes we have some issues, but at the end of the day we are able to say, that we had a productive working day.
-My co-workers are friendly, helpful, easy going. Sometimes we have arguments, and who doesn't, but I can honestly say we are like a family.
- Hardest part of the job is ability to combine different tasks and responsibilities in short period of time.
-Most enjoyable part of the job is to communicate with people and do some accounting.

On typical day I'm openinig/closing the shop,checking the tills and clocking in/clocking out of the employees from the night before(opening) or writting the reports about the issues from that particular day(closing) and closing the tills.
Supervising the waiting stuff for proper opening or closing the place.
I have learned to do the rota for waiting stuff with comparing the sales from the previous year.
I really enjoy working with my co-workers,we have a fantastic team,everyone are friendly and working hard individual.
The hardest part of the job in my opinion is to be patient and calm in stressful situations,but I always try to do my best to be fair and dyplomatic.
