I am proud to work as a part of Beverley Holidays. 
I started 11 years ago as a Reception team member for one summer on a seasonal contract while at university, and haven't looked back since! Through my time here, I have progressed through the team, taking on different roles, responsibilities and challenges and am now a senior manager, proof that development of the team is one of the company's core values. It's lovely to work for a family-run company who are genuinely invested in the company,our fantastic holiday product and the team who work with them. 
Every day is different with every department and team member working together to ensure we are giving an incredible experience for our holiday guests. We are well supported by Management and the Directors of the company and are challenged every year to be bigger and better than the last, for ourselves, and our customers expectations! This is recognised with general 'thank you's from the management and also different social events to celebrate everyone's success.
We do work hard, particularly during the summer months but that's what makes us one of the best Holiday Parks in the South Devon area and is something for all of us to be proud of!

Working seasonally at Beverley Park for the past 7 years or so, I have enjoyed  the work and  challenges which have come my way. I started off cleaning caravans (definitely not my forte) at short notice, just helping out, but rapidly realised the staff were friendly and helpful and was happy to go in to help at any time.  This meant I worked in the Craft room helping customers (mainly children and their parents) to make pieces of art with all different media , including painting and decorating clay, cutting and sticking, drawing and colouring/painting.  I was then asked to do cleaning again, but found that I was better at making beds, so now, if I am available, I take new people under my wing and show them my way.  The benefits are we work together quickly and efficiently and can chat and laugh so the time goes quickly.  There are several perks including working with a friendly team, able to order from reduced cost staff menu for meals and membership of the Oasis swimming pool and gym.   As a team we help each other across the site and know everyone, at least by sight, including the owners and managers.

You are just another number in this company, they don't look after you and really don't care about you. 
Management haven't got a clue! They demand more and more of you and give you impossible deadlines until you feel burnt out. You have to work everyday of the year and when you try and book holiday time off, they always deny your holiday request.
It's a them and us environment and no matter what you do it's never good enough. You are either getting it in the neck from private owners or from management. I wouldn't bother applying for a job with Beverley Holidays, stay clear. The pay is minimum wage, which is  pittance for what you do and other companies pay better. Trust me, stay clear of Beverley Holidays.

A typical day starts at 7am and can be quite busy so we all know what to do and where to start. There is alot to do in a small space of time before we open to the public so team work is paramount.
My co-workers are capable and hard working and we all get on well.
Management trust us to get the jobs done well but will be around if needed. The hardest part of the job is during the high season as the work areas are extremely messy and we have to work fast to get it up to standard for opening. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing it looking great after our hard work.

Seasonal receptionist. Enjoyable and friendly team but fast paced and can be stressful. More work added on often ie customer service/sales. Reception team work well together and manager works really hard to keep a happy team and happy guests.

The upper management are only interested in what serves them best. They do not care about the well being of their employees. You are just a number to them
Despite the obvious issues with the senior managers, they will no action to rectify any problem presented to them. They take out their frustrations on the employees and do not care for constructive criticism.  Avoid if you like being happy. 

I worked for Beverly holidays for three years, they fired me, no explanation, no warning just let me go and left me jobless even though I worked really hard for them for three years I didn’t even get a goodbye after forming what I thought was a really good work family

Working for a non supportive company that only favours those who brown nose, staff are mainly very friendly, some middle manager are brilliant, and higher management don't bother with any support. Such a shame as the older directors took pride in the staff and park

We all get a buzz taking bookings and reaching target. Its team work but also you are bonused on your own performance. Hours can vary between 9am to 8pm, but during the winter is is 9am to 5pm. We work every other weekend.

Beverly holidays is a a great place to work the staff there treat everyone with the respect that is deserved. The hours of work you do are random to the amount of people leaving and checking in so somedays you could be doing long days such as 8-8 in the summer or short days
