It was a good learning experience working for Braces, helping the packaged Bread for dispatch, catching a few open ones just before they got taken away and properly replacing them.
Learned plenty of the inner working of a factory environment feel like I've gotten more patient too.
Cleaning was a hassle, breadcrumbs in every nook and cranny but it was real workout.

You've got to have good endurance to manage standing for so long, the breaks aren't long enough for your feet to recover, the work boots especially made it difficult for me, I'm a big lad so they pressed into me somewhat to the point I had to go buy my own, much more manageable after that.

Management dont care about you at all, always boiling, nobody knows what to do as you get no training you literally show up sign a paper and get put on the line and machines do nothing but malfunction which causes nothing but stress for the workers the place is held together by a handful of people who do everything for the place but even they get no appreciation also the braces brothers just sit and watch the cameras then call winging about every little thing some even being unavoidable

Registering all the invoices that would come in from the post, date stamped and send out for authorising. Entering all invoices on the ledger for payment. Reconcile statements, sending emails answer phone queries. Assist with month end , year end and audits. Sales invoicing cycle, sales management reports. Creditors report which i would update every Monday. I learnt new things all the time. My colleagues that i worked with were great. I loved going to work it was incentive to get up each morning. There wasn't a time where anything wasn't hard. Most enjoyable part was working at Braces.

in my years working in bakery I,ve learnt all positions with excellent training given to all employees, great for any one wishing to climb the ladder or not get bored at their post .good management makes life easier it is hard work and long hours , team player is key to getting the job done especially when you get a brake down, you can never do enough cleaning all part of the job. very grateful of my employment what l have leant will definitely help get my next job.

Was a good work place to learn new skills and gain experience in this industry for decent money. Its a very faced paced working environment and you are always kept busy. This is helpful in my opinion on getting through 12 hour shifts.

Great management team, learned loads of new skills and made some vast improvements in a short space of time, excellent work force who are keen to learn. Hardest part is interfeerance from the owners who don't understand how to run a business.

could be better needs personnel motivation and creative culture, lack communication all seems to be has-has highly secretive nobody knows the future.

I thoroughly enjoy working at Brace's but my job stability has been brought into question, overall Brace's are very accommodating employers to work for however I am ready to move on.

When Braces came in to rescue the company, they really came in the look after Braces. When all was sorted with there customers they moved everything back to Wales. Who wants to travel to Wales to work?

Currently going through a lot of changes not for the better unfortunately staff are not really treated the best company has changed massively over the years
