Management just want the best for you and always helpful and looking after you. workplace is relaxed in a family environment with lovely people who you get to know more about. Hardest part of the job is being on your feet for 4 hours or longer, the most enjoyable part of the job is definitely your colleagues, management and the spectators it's a wonderful and exhilarating environment to work in and it's a dream job, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Team briefing then instructions on your role for the game or event. Communicate throughout the shift of any incidents

For this job I am a matchday safety steward working all home games as well as other events held at the American Express community stadium.
My main duties include understanding general responsibilities towards the health and safety of spectators, carry out pre-event safety checks, control and direct spectators approaching, entering and leaving the stadium, assist the emergency services when required, to recognise crowd conditions

Always an enjoyable working day, real sense of togetherness and connection within the team,
Supervisors were friendly and welcoming, always there if you needed help,
Hardest part - standing around waiting for the stadium to fill up/empty
Most enjoyable - the chill down your spine as the fans chanted, catching sneak peaks of the game and the odd celebrity walking/driving pass.

Work is casual and so whilst not regular, it is flexible and accommodating. Co-workers and supervisors are friendly, professional and great to work with. The atmosphere of the stadium on matchdays is brilliant. Uniform is provided. Hospitality is good. However, my interactions with senior management as a steward has been poor, and more respect to casual staff is required from the top.

Very friendly staff, people help each other when one has a problem and its pretty much a relaxed working environment. I start at different times each time I work at the Stadium, I get the briefing before each game and then get put to my post afterwards. get a 15 minute break so I can eat and after the game we get to talk to the fans plus we keep our area secure.

it is a good environment for working as it helps you to be more aware of your surroundings as well as being more cautious about how yo go about. it is very close to my university so I don't have any trouble communicating there. The community is diverse of all ages which means that you get to talk to different types of people and they're always friendly in addition to helping you if you are confused.

A great company that I have enjoyed working for over the years, Its a business that continued to grow to the top flight, The football club has made a lot of recent changes some for the better and some for the worse, However overall I have enjoyed my time working for the club and am now looking to seek a new challenge
