A typical day would mainly be services and mots with some diagnostics and repairs. Management from my personal experience at volvo was good and supportive with any personal issues and them wanting to help you grow and learn from dealer training  and the master tech always happy to help and share his knowledge. Workplace culture was good with the lads in the workshop and quite a few people upstairs. Hardest part of the job was probably fighting manufacturer time expectations. Most enjoyable was having a laugh with my colleagues. 

Days at work could be either non stop or dead. You could never do anything right without being micromanaged. If the management do something wrong, they are experts in blaming the staff. If you’re looking for a long career somewhere I wouldn’t bother.  

Always looking to hit targets. All about the numbers here. Constantly monitoring everything you do and what type of contact you are having with every customer including noting what you're saying. Not a pleasant environment.

Very busy Workshop, good set of technicians who are a laugh, service manager who was easy to get along with, but upper management not so great, will be sly and do things to screw you over unless you brown nose them, also upper management changing mind at the drop of a hat no matter what you do it’s wrong because they can’t be wrong. 

Used to be a good place to work a few years back, new management start and caused it to crash and burn.
Very petty for management, any opportunity to screw you over will be taken
Expected to work to the highest standard for less than average money..

All they’re interested in is cutting costs.

But then they waste an absolute fortune by being half in, half out with everything. 

I don’t think there’s any vision,  seems to be no real clear objective. 

If you’re unsure where you’re headed, how are you going to get there? 

I really enjoyed my time at Brindley Volvo. It was a healthy competitive sales environment, paired with a very supportive management team and all hands on deck approach to getting the job done.

The place is a joke,very poor management even worse directors.
Poor pay long hours no appreciation whatsoever, untrained staffed left to Complaining customers

Terrible group to work for definitely wouldn’t recommend, management are very poor and certainly very unprofessional, feels you are working under children. 

Parts managers alter stock checks and when youndiscover this you're fired relieved of your duties. Not a place with trusty people, people will stab you in the back
