I worked at caf rail for just under 3 months and at the end of the 3 months I had no prior warning that they were going to let me go I was on a scheduled day off had a phone call told that they were going to let me go. I was a model employee worked extra hours whenever they needed and worked across multiple departments management was awful at caf would highly recommend that anyone doesn’t go to work for them even tho the money is good I had to supply my own PPE while I worked at caf Ford and Stanley are an awful company as well don’t work for them

Start work, log in to the computer which your not really trained on how to use properly. learnt that you are really on your own. management is okay i just happened to join at an awful time for myself having two different team leaders in 3 weeks and not given my training properly until week 5. workplace culture is the same as any other manufacturing place. wasn’t there long enough to find out the hardest part. the most enjoyable was some of the people on the team i was on and how nice they were.

Nothing i dont think so everything is good

Multi cultural and friendly peoples 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Normal pace and helpful people

Could be a good company but a lot of young clueless people making bad decisions in key roles trying to learn and adapt to the was they do the same job in Spain 
Could not get organised in work as speed was always priority and not quality

CAF are a very good and well organised company who are here in the UK.  Their technology is very ambitious and for a good technician/ engineer can be very challenging.  You need to be an all rounder for CAF UK!
