Main duties include:

• Liaising with clients to identify user requirements.
• Producing detailed design specifications to client technical standards.
• Programming SCADA applications to design specifications.
• Producing test specifications in line with client user requirements.
• Performing works acceptance testing and customer acceptance testing utilising test specifications.

Both management and the culture are poor, targets are the main priority, staff morale is low and most of our team is burnt out, with a lot of changing of priorities unclear hand overs. Senior engineers opinions and ideas are irrelevant and help is poor, and slowly becoming a micro managed mess

I would say during my time working in Capula I found the company was really staff friendly and mainly very organised in terms of procedures, which help you to go ahead with any job very quick. in terms of training I would say you get decent amount of training to get on with your job.

Capula suffers from poor management, junior employees get bullied by the management team, and a blind eye gets turned to it. Discrimination is rife, and it’s a toxic work environment.

I worked as a Support QS, admin of subcontractors claimed variations and account and pricing client variations.
Good people to work with.
Note - I am currently available 3-4 days p.w. if needed in similar role for either Power or Nuclear.

Generally quite a good company but no training for engineers basic requirements let alone career progression.  No real structure or career path for field based technicians

Filling out a bill of materials so that jobs can go as smooth as possible as well as producing technical schematic drawings for site work and shopfloor production.

good place to work, but work load is sporadic as it is all reactive work within the department with peaks and troughs. Good company to work for with a friendly work force
