This employment was mainly on a Saturday but also sometimes a Tuesday evening. Within this job my main duties included counting stock both out at the start of my shift and any returns back in at the end, selling to the public and dealing with large amounts of cash.
In this job we had to manage our time and stock independently. Public communication is vital, being friendly and positive was a must.
All my co workers and myself helped each other with the transportation of stock but otherwise you had to work independently.
The hardest part of my job could be staying polite when customers weren't. The most enjoyable was the friendly banter with other members of staff and public.

my typical day at work would be going to leisure centers and schools in the local area, and doing sport lessons with young children. i learned how you should deal with young children and how to base sessions around different ability. the management was really good and the culture was really good. everyone wad really friendly. the hardest part was moving from school to school. the most enjoyable was teaching the children new things.

I worked here for about 3 months and can say I enjoyed every second of it; the management promoted a fun and jokey working environment at the Valley Center and made me enjoy coming in to work before going out on coaching sessions.

I feel I can't leave a critical review, but they did put my education first and still managed to fit work for me to earn money. Got lots of football kits, played football and made lots of friends. Loved it here!

I wasn’t treated very nicely and I was knowingly underpaid and never went back.
Pros: You get to meet some footballers in the lounge and get to serve some lovely people who give generous tips.

A great place to work. Duties include: helping customers locate their seats; ensuring that customers are able to enjoy themselves safely by preventing them from walking onto the pitch and using aggressive and abusive language.

Was a youngster.

Was great to learn about the game from great people. Was a young boy so no pressure involved it was just fun.

Enjoyed playing with my friends for the most part and playing up a year.

Didn't enjoy having to catch up on school work when I did day release.

The staff at the TG and The Valley all get on very well. Teamwork plays a big part of the day to day duties and everybody helps each other when things get busy. Lots of positive time at the TG.

A lot of opportunities to take responsibility and build breadth of skills.  A quite intense work load on top of working 6 day weeks every other week due to home matches on Saturdays.

Was a fantastic job and would return in an instant some of my very good friends I've built through my time at the valley dealing with all aspects of life it gives you that great sense of honour that you have helped n served others
