What is the best part of working at the company?
The only good thing was the other teachers were great

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No contracts for a long time, problems with pay often mistakes, teachers weren’t respected by other departments.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Extremely toxic, teachers worked very hard but never given any recognition or stability. Often having to deal with challenging situations in the classroom due to poor management. The building was falling apart, plugs coming off the sockets exposed wires in the classrooms.

The students are, on the whole, delightful and motivated learners. Most of the teaching and non-teaching staff are enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, some departments are plagued by workplace bullying. Furthermore, the staff culture in some areas is very toxic. Numerous staff members have been off sick (or worse) with health problems stemming from this culture. It's such a shame, because some departments are the polar opposite, but I wouldn't recommend Concord as a place of work.

Lovely location but the journey in can be tough due to poor road quality. Senior management is very cliquey and promotion/opportunities are based on who you know. Pay is very low comparatively for the living costs in the area, particularly for nurses/medical staff.
Middle management are incompetent and do not improve conditions for staff. The medical centre is an awful place to work, toxic work environment.

Lovely friendly place to work. With approachable management.
Concord is a clean and safe place to work, with an inclusive attitude.

There were no stressful parts 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Really friendly. Extremely inclusive and feel valued and heard as a member of staff. 
Everyone is treated fairly 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy environment.. alot of the day and jobs are done with student times table in mind.

Poor management, they have favourites, if you are not a yes person don't bother with this place. Their is alot of jealousy and backstabbing between departments
It's a good environment, lovely area, however it's a nightmare to get to. In the summer it's all hgv and tractors and in the winter the roads are treacherous and unlit. Good points include free lunch and when the students leave you get to help yourself to everything they have left, including clothes, shoes, food, electrical items and sometimes money.

As an agency worker this was one of the best jobs I've had...super place to work where all the staff were lovely from domestic, laundry, teaching,and maintenance Inc grounds. Very welcoming except one particular manager. Enough said....HR needed to go with there gut feeling I'm afraid not listening to this clown. Above all I had a great (short time there) everyone friendly and helpful....to all who are still there.....all the best....I miss you massively xxx

I've been working here for a number of years and still really enjoy it.
It can be hard work, you're expected to work at a high standard which is fair enough - you've come to work at a place with a reputation for being one of the top colleges in the UK.
You're provided with a nice uniform, access to the dining room where you can enjoy a 3 course meal and all training is given.  It's set in stunning grounds amongst the Shropshire countryside.

This job introduced me to people from all across the world. 
It was a happy working environment with a good team to help if it was needed. 
There was excellent support from all members of management who were extremely approachable and happy to listen to any concerns or suggestions. 
Would recommend to anyone looking for active summer work.

A joke of an employer! Do not waste your time!
Management have NO clue and treat people unfairly, unless your face fits and you get away with everything. If you ask for time off, you get an eye roll in return! 
They expect flexibility of you but they aren’t prepared to do the same in return. Colleagues stab you in the back too. Management don’t communicate and it is very clicky! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!!!!

It is a fast paced environment and every day is different depending on which job you do. Management are pretty flexible with changing shifts or swapping with other staff members. A hot lunch is provided, which is a bonus. Although the only down side is the wear and tear on the car due to travelling the back roads. Overall the pay is good, the other staff members are friendly and the management are fair and helpful if you need anything.
