Place is good to work in. Workers are spot on. Could be tan so much better. There are weekends there if you want them. Only drawback is if you don’t then you have to wait till half 5 quarter to 6 on a Friday to see if you can plan anything for the weekend, office staff don’t answer the phone when you need critical info, advice and/or the go ahead to cancel jobs. Would be an ideal place to work if you enjoy the stress of working 70 hours and fearing to look at the wage slip to see if the pay is correct. Constant up and down trips to Aberdeen. On very little sleep, working in the yard till 5 minutes before finishing time then hits you with a removal of a job in Dumfries or Aberdeen or anywhere in Scotland really. And expected to do this and wake up fresh as a daisy to do it all again tomorrow. They do have there own training facility but again it’s if they can be bothered to put guys through training they’d much rather see the older guys struggle than let the younger keener guys get training.

They make you feel part of the company and offer great support with opportunities to progress. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing really sticks out,  due to the professional manner the business is ran it eliminates most of the stress from the job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very much a family feel to the company with a good team ethic, everyone helps each other out and they have a can do attitude.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Most days are busy with work scheduled the night before, this will occasionally change but they try and give as much notice to reduce any stress

Is get up for work early go to the yard get loaded with what I needed to do my job I learned when I was there on how to do my job to the best and safest way possible as been a TMO is a dangerous job after all you are working with vehicles on the roads sometimes on high speed roads. The management of the company is good they have your job pack already for you with your are address and your risk assessment. The hardest part of the job is when your by yourself and you have to lift in a 4traffic light system because again your working on the roads with moving vehicles so it's rush rush until the job is all lifted in.the most enjoyable part of the job is when you do a site check and your job is well tidy and everything neet and tidy

TM is a very easy and capable job role but it has so many drawbacks. All company's want you to work more than your contracted too which means your always over your hours for little reward. You get asked to do double or even treble shifts which without sufficient rest time is illegal. you can't really progress in the role. work can be snowballed or complete dire depending on time of year and also the company you work for. your role is to make sure the workers and general public are safe. the only plus to a role like this is that once you have your tickets you can go to any company if your are stuck for work. But that is the only positive. Can be a very dangerous role and for little pay not a worthwhile one.

Everything the office staff and directors are bullies

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depressing , suicidal wanting to end your own life cause it’s easier than the way they treat you

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Wanting to cut my own wrists.

There’s nothing good about it, if you are a friend or a lackie you’ll get places, until then you’re a nobody who will always be stuck on stop n Go, expect you to work day and night and the overtime rates are questionable! Overtime doesn’t start till 8pm.. shocking! Recommend anyone with a brain to stay away! 

Terribly run company. Constant mistakes, which get blamed on the employees. No job security whatsoever. Expect you to work 7 days a week, treble shifts, 100 hour weeks etc.
