I've been in the manufacturing industry in previous jobs, and Cooneen provides the best work/ life balance I've experienced over a long career.

I feel that I have a chance to make changes and give input which is important to me, and its something I didn't have the chance to do in previous jobs with bigger manufacturing companies.

Best benefits are the holidays, which are great and the healthcare which is the best package I've been on so far as myself and two dependents are completely paid for by the company.



What is the best part of working at the company?
The camaraderie between colleagues. The support of the line manager. If you have a genuine problem it will be listened to but not necessarily actioned upon. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The cold during the winter months 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very upbeat amongst those who know what’s needed and will actively help you accomplish that. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. If there’s a lull- then you grab a broom or get supplies.

Unless you are from the local area I would not work here. Made fell like an outsider, and certain members make life extra difficult. management are just bullies and some are clueless about you and your actual role, no support whatsoever, whilst expecting top results with very very little training, every day extra duties were added on to you, if you are going to work here make sure you have a crystal ball 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people I worked with were lovely.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of staff appreciation. No loyalty to agency staff, when they apply for full time posts.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Can be busy, but it makes the day go quickly.

If you were sick they would call you to try get you back in
The work load was way to much
Head office would visit, they would expect meetings after meeting, time to be made up so deadlines were met.
Salary did not increase at all. 

Really loved my time at Cooneen, my job was extremely rewarding and my co workers were so lovely and encouraging,
Of course there were stressful times as with all jobs but the support given out weighed the stress.
My only problem was the low pay for the amount of work involved.

Worst Organization I’ve ever worked in poor unskilled management 3rd world pay rates don’t know how people work under this regime so disorganised best part is the further away you are from this place

Working hours are good.
Holidays are good
Pay could be a lot better
Everyone is respected by most of the senior level staff. 
Heavy workload.
No real appreciation for the hard work you have done. 

Good company to work for, heavy workload but nice to do, not back breaking and friendly Co workers. Management could be better in pacing workload and could be better at noticing each staff member and the work that they do and encouraged.

A good place to work, but management unfortunately let's this company down.
