Day to day responsibilities were very slow placed- this was a personal adjustment having always worked in such a fast paced high pressured environemnt.

The department was newly introduced to the company so management and structure seemed lacking in areas. I felt as though communication on responsibilities and expectations could have been made clearer.

The hardest part of the job was the lack of support when trying to remain engaged with the work / company when work was slow. 

Assisting other people / relevant departments appeared to be frowned upon and self development isn't as encouraged as it could be.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the overall workplace culture which was welcoming and friendly upon arrival- its very easy to integrate into the company on a social basis.

The brand is very good and some really good sales and staff discounts.  There would be some very uncomfortable occasions when staff would talk about other members with derogatory language, they didnt care who heard.  Some staff had not a care in the world if you heard them talking about you just in the next section of shop.  Really no support even for new starters.  1 or 2 very nice staff who were having problems also.  I was told that people would leave regularly when someone else left and I wondered why they left in their droves then I found out when I started working there.

I worked for two different COS Stores and the second one was totally different from the first. There was no work life balance, constant overtime, poor management and a toxic working environment due to management. However the people I worked with were funny, kind and great at their jobs. Its just a shame that management was so terrible at their jobs.

The day begins with a meeting where the day's program is announced, and proposals are heard to carry out everything successfully.
The work is not difficult, it is pleasant and it is good to feel responsibility for what you do, you learn something daily, which is positive. The work environment is optimal and the relationship with everyone is generally excellent. that’s all at the moment. Thanks for ask 

Recruiting management team and sales advisor for new store worldwide. (Asia, Europe, USA). phone screening, 1st interviews, 2nd interviews + practical. Traveling 80% of the time. Arranging contracts worldwide. Supporting Global HR in Head Office. Supporting Area Hr (6 in different markets). Training managers when needed. Working with recruitment agencies. Visiting stores and follow up, analysing HR issues and visual and sales. Mystery shopping reports.

Pretty typical retail job but expectations from management do not match the store/company's reality. Main issue is the management as the environment gets toxic rapidly and HR support/ confidentiality doesn't exist for any issue that you will run into. Would describe as a rotting apple with a candied exterior, not what you would expect. 

Overall a positive experience, however best suited for students who are interested in working part-time. The particular store I worked in was by far the best out of the other stores where I heard negative feedback but with retail the environment is ever-changing.

Would highly recommend as a transitional or temporary job as the progression is very limited.

working with amazing colleagues and customers, the clothes are really inspiring as they're all COS's own designs and not sub-brands that are bought from - the whole store is consistent and very aesthetically pleasing.

If you're looking for a not extremely demanding  retail job go for this. Pay is okay too and colleagues are amazing people depending on the store!! :)
