Work in clinical area not enough time allocated to support patients and complete admin tasks, often running behind so no time for lunch or comfort breaks.  Learned to not stress out as out of my control, management need to take it on board and complete risk and wellbeing assessments because staff going off sick.  Rewarding to see patients healed and discharged.

A working day for me is never the same, one day you can be dealing with violence and aggression datix forms and the next dealing with a serious injury.  I never take this job for granted, its exciting and I like getting involved and helping people out, that's what I am here for.....

Only seem to have bank staff or fix term contracts promising more work but it never happens plus keep giving staff more and more to do with no extra pay. Also inappropriate and sometimes racist comments made about employees by lower management staff!  Not good. Bad work ethic!

As always all team differ but I really love the team I work for. It’s been great to finally have a job and look forward to coming to work. My team and management are absolutely fabulous, I’m so grateful for this opportunity.

Happy to have worked here as long as I have. Caring and supportive is a true description of this healthcare trust and the patients are treated with respect and kindness.

My managers were quick to help me out with anything I needed and were always there to support me. My actual place of work was horrendous but this was not the fault of DCHS itself.
