DFYNE is genuinely unlike any other workplace I have experienced before. The culture that has been created will not be matched anywhere else. This is genuinely an amazing family, all working toward a common goal. 

Staff here are valued, appreciated, respected and heard. 

The business very much believes in rewarding hard work and ALL employees in senior positions have either been there from the start or have worked their socks off for the positions they are in. 

The culture means it feels like you are on a journey together, with close friends.

The CEO has created a business that does so much more for its staff than anywhere I have ever worked before and we all share in the success together. 

This means that you feel so personally and emotionally attached to the business and this is reflected in the amazing staff retention rates at DFYNE. 

As a growing business, yes things change quickly but this is such an exciting thing to be part of and you have the opportunity, should you wish to take it, to grow massively along with the business.

My life has changed beyond recognition since joining DFYNE and I will repay that to the very best of my ability by giving my all to the role I am fortunate enough to be in. 

If you are looking for a corporate machine that does things in the same way as every other big brand, and who sees you as a number then DFYNE might not be for you. 

However, if you are looking for a fun, dynamic, fast-paced, growing business who respect you, appreciate your contribution and reward you for it, then do not think twice about applying to work with DFYNE!

I was fortunate enough to start my journey at DFYNE during the early days, when there were less than 10 of us - meaning I feel like I truly have had the time to witness the company growing.  I've seen good days, bad days, and all the teething issues along the way and never once have I doubted that we, as a team are giving our best effort.
When I first started DFYNE, I was extremely anxious, quite unsure of myself and just how capable I was.  Sure, it did take me some time to really open up and step out of my comfort zone... but 3 years later, I look back and I honestly dont even recognise that version of myself anymore, not even just me, but those who know me will also agree that this role has totally transformed me as an individual and my life into something I couldnt even have imagined!
 The opportunities, goals, support and determination here is honestly crazy.  I've never seen anything like it.   Everyone wants to see each other succeed (even in the moments i've stumbled or failed, i've found guidance.  I've grew confidence, gained friendships, and realised the importance of giving something my all.


Its important to realise that this isnt an "anything goes" culture.  We do hold ourselves to high standards... we do have some days busier than others or higher pressure but thats what makes this place special and not everyone connects or thrives in that type of environment, but those who are truly driven, curious and willing to learn will find endless opportunities here.  

To summarise, DFYNE has a massive place in my heart.  The family, the role, the opportunities, the madness, the spirit... everything! 

While the company presents itself as being supportive of mental health — with social media posts and messaging around wellbeing — this does not translate into real support when staff actually need it. In difficult situations, there is a noticeable lack of care, understanding, and meaningful action.

There also appears to be a pattern of handling departures by offering pay-offs, which creates a culture of silence rather than addressing underlying issues.

The workplace culture itself feels very cliquey and exclusionary. If you don’t fit a very specific image, it can be difficult to feel included or valued, and opportunities or attention can feel unevenly distributed.

Communication and support from management are inconsistent. Expectations are often unclear, and there is little guidance, which makes it challenging to feel confident in your role.

Additionally, there is a strong presence of gossip and misinformation, which contributes to an uncomfortable and, at times, toxic environment.

Overall, the atmosphere can feel tense, with many employees worried about job security, which creates ongoing anxiety rather than a supportive or stable workplace.

During my time with the company, I found that the internal experience did not align with the values and culture promoted publicly. The work environment was often difficult to navigate, and communication from higher-level staff could feel inconsistent or unsupportive. This made it challenging to feel fully included or confident in day-to-day work.

The organisational structure and management style sometimes created an atmosphere where concerns didn’t feel meaningfully acknowledged. Interactions with senior staff occasionally contributed to a tense or discouraging environment, which affected morale and engagement.

I also noticed a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive external image. There were occasions where employees were encouraged to share favourable feedback online, which gave me the impression that managing perception was prioritised over addressing internal issues.

Overall, the company looks impressive from the outside, but my personal experience highlighted several cultural and leadership challenges that made the workplace less supportive than expected.


Since starting at DFYNE September 2024, I have progressed wildly, starting as an administrator and working my way to becoming a People & Culture Generalist. I am learning every day on the job and have numerous opportunities to expand my knowledge with training courses encouraged. I have never felt more safe, cared for, acknowledged or recognised in any other employment. It's a true work family and we all look out for each other, helping one another to grow within the company.

Progression within the company is first and foremost. Hard work is always recognised, thanked and rewarded! It makes work so much more enjoyable.

I truly doesn't feel like you are at work, there's always time for a chat and some laughs so it doesn't feel like work at all. You are surrounded by like minded hardworking individuals and it drives you to work that little bit harder.

At first glance, it all looks impressive, glossy branding, big ideas, and talk of culture, creativity, and “family.” But behind the polish is an environment where the pressure is relentless, direction constantly changes, and leadership often confuses chaos for creativity.

You’ll hear a lot about values, but you won’t see them lived out. It’s hard to feel supported when decisions come from the top down with little thought for the people doing the work. Deadlines move daily, priorities shift hourly, and genuine feedback is replaced with empty buzzwords.

The people doing the work are talented and try hard, but morale only stretches so far. When the head of hr chooses to leave without another job lined up, and  was everything a true hr person should be: calm, steady, and made everyone feel safe, that tells you everything you need to know.

If you’re looking for somewhere that respects its people as much as its image, keep looking. The gloss fades quickly here.

At DFYNE, there are really two companies operating under one roof.

In the office: catered lunches, professional development chats, endless brand talk, and plenty of praise.
In the warehouse: relentless targets, zero recognition, poor communication, and very little respect.

The divide is stark, and it’s not just about job function. It’s cultural. There’s a clear hierarchy of value, and warehouse staff are consistently treated as expendable. Decisions are made without input, concerns are brushed aside, and even basic support is often an afterthought.

There’s a real sense that if you're not in a branded hoodie behind a MacBook, you're invisible.

It's not just disappointing, it’s demoralising. And over time, it creates deep resentment. One team gets celebrated. The other gets managed.

If you're considering a role in the warehouse, be prepared for a very different experience than what’s shown on social media.

DFYNE is a case study in performance over principle.

From the outside, it's all noise: Very planned,  curated culture, polished comms, and a social media presence designed to impress. But internally? It’s a very different story.

If you're not part of the favoured inner circle, expect to be sidelined. Genuine concerns are routinely dismissed. Processes are performative at best, and reputational management consistently takes priority over doing the right thing.

The culture rewards silence, compliance, and flattery. Raise difficult truths, even respectfully,  and you’ll quickly learn how conditional that “inclusive” environment really is.

People aren’t developed here, they’re used. And if you become inconvenient, or you speak out about the over-protected inner circle they’ll quietly rewrite the story and move on.

Approach with your eyes wide open. The branding is slick. The reality is brutal.

I currently work within the customer care team here at DFYNE HQ, even though I have only been here for a short period the team has welcomed me in with open arms. The environment as a whole is one big collaboration with all departments simultaneously working towards the same goal. 

No two days are the same which is amazing, there are constant team-building exercises, staff events, and staff training open to all members of the team rather than just "management". The team in people and culture alongside all the team leads are always looking for better ways of working and are pushing staff progression daily which allows you to explore other careers and promotions within the company.
