- I have my days with Arden. Depends on the store I go to. Very busy when we have activities on counter such as events, competitions, gifts ...etc. 

- I've learned that I work well on my own and I also like managing the counter buy myself and doing this I have also learned that I can actually think outside the box and use my own initiative when i have to deal with difficult situations. 

- I have no complains about managements. Even myself, a very spoken person have had my days with them but I'm not gonna complain because they wouldn't be having words with you unless it was such a concern or something very serious.

- My co- workers are now my very close friends and companions.

- Hardest part of the job is just traffic stopping (that's only my opinion). Even tho I should be a pro by now with traffic stopping as I have been doing this since I was 17 years old it is sometimes hard. For a company that has been going for over 100 years, the company should be selling itself like other brands out there (again, this is just my opinion).

- I do enjoy when we're having an event or on gifts. That's when my day go the fastest.

From the first interview,and then the training witch was both fun and very thorough,which gave you the confidence to sell the right product to fit the persons needs,a day in work was always different,and you felt confident introducing the products and ensuring the customer’s needs were met.the work place was great as it was always nice to make new friends,and be aware of the latest products,in the department,and know that my company could compete with the other departments,in having the latest products and tools to match any other in store.it was never hard,just took a little longer,to have the customer sit down,and apply the products and allow them,to feel and see the benefits of the products we agreed to use.
Most enjoyable,new launches of products,being able to use them myself,introducing them to customers,and the company just a lovely helpful company to work with,who always encourage you to be your best.

A typical day at work for me starts at 9.00am. I Brief my team on daily figures and talk about what we need to achieve for the week. I plan counter events to help achieve targets and I set my team goals. 
I check stock on my counter weekly to make sure I am on top of things . If I sell out of items it could take weeks before I receive more. 
I love working with the public and I find my job very rewarding. I have built up a very loyal customer base and I enjoy making women feel beautiful and confident . I have won consultant of the year three times . It is nice to get recognised for achieving my targets and the effort I put into my job. I find the hardest part of my job is competing with the other Elizabeth Arden accounts in Belfast as we all have different offers on at the same time. I am glad I have loyal customers and I do like a challenge.

A typical day would start with cashing in and making sure al the tills had been added up correctly the night before, then quickly check your targets and make a seller strategy for the day to meet your target bbefore the department store opened. Advice customers what to buy and carry demonstrations on the customers through out day. Making sure your counter is tidy and presentable. 
I learnt all about targets and how the get people interested in products using different sale techniques. 
The hardest part of the Job was trying to expand my sales audience to the younger generation. 
But the most enjoyable part was over achieving targets and knowing that you can make the next target. 

1. Smile, have a joke with colleagues then compare figures and performance with other counter managers.
2. Set up the counter for the events for the day
3. Get read to greet customers and start business.

I have learned that good time management is crutial to get the job done and keeping on smiling makes the tasks easier.

My co-workers have a good sense of fellowship and team work which is very good in our environment.

The hardest part of the job is maintaining a fast increasing sales performance within the competion environment.

The most enjoyable part of the job is succeeding at competition.

I loved my time at Elizabeth Arden. As long as you are target and results driven then selling on counter is for you. I was supported with regular training and contact with my area manager. 
There was always opportunity to drive sales and ideas were supported. The products are beautiful and I wished that the brand was more prominent in the UK with the younger shoppers. I would recommend the company but be aware this is retail so weekend working and long hours at peak times is and should be expected.

I met so many people who encouraged me and supported my various promotions. The Upper Management team were human and approachable, and listened.
Staff welfare was very important to them.
I always enjoyed my. time with this company, the products were beautiful, I was so very proud to be the one that assisted customers, confident  they would love them as much as me.
There was no hard part of job, selling and mentoring team members who were as enthusiastic as myself is never a hardship. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Beautiful products. Ceramide skincare and capsules I cannot live without.
Shame hire management don't acknowledge you. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Receiving annual allocation of these beautiful products 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Negative. Would not work for them again. On my last day I emailed several higher management, thanking them, and expressing my sadness to leave the comp. Not one had the respect or decency to reply.

Great skincare, make up lagging far behind competition.
Little support from management.
Have to really be pro active as customers are few, or want the information and buy online as so much cheaper.
Dont answer emails,little support from management.
Office mainly Revlon now, dont like it theres the door attitude.

typical day started at 8am ,i learnt about stock management,team development and how to achieve KPI's.Management were very easy going allowed and empowered their managers to develop and choose their own team,I had a group of very well motivated members of staff.The hardest part of the job was liaising between the store and the warehouse.The most enjoyable part of the job was the interaction with customers.
