Starting from the top, I was heavily misled during  the interview process and ended up in a role that in no way resembled the role that was described - level of responsibility and independence was completely oversold and ended up doing none of the things the company hired me to do - instead I just picked up the scraps of other peoples jobs the entire time.

Management do not trust you. Asking for annual leave you are made to feel weirdly guilty, and my two sick days in the entire time working there were apparently cause for distrust.  Was called into the MD’s office and interrogated over being an hour late, with advance notice, due to a flat tyre (something easily provable). When leaving the company I was very unprofessionally accused of taking the company for a ride because I had taken holiday that was allotted to me, despite paying back leave that was no longer accrued due to me leaving. 

To top this off they hired someone into the role I was led to believe was mine.

8 and a half hour day with a half hour lunch break is rather steep.

As many have said, there is a top down (and I mean very top) problem with toxicity here. Ideas are not listened to, and employees are under appreciated and mistreated. 

Hardest part: Dealing with patronising management and having to sit and take it, because ‘trust has to be won’

Most enjoyable part: Most of the staff are okay, pay is fair, even if not overly generous 

Was sent to work there via an agency (rubbish agency), when I first went there the first warehouse manager was a decent guy, he gave advice, and got the team prompt into to working hard and focusing it was relaxed and happy. But when the company decided to do some kind of turn around, they hired a new warehouse operative. Then all sorts of silly changes happened. We weren't allowed overtime, no sick pay, holidays were like world war 2 rations and to top it off, we weren't allowed to make tea unless we made it for the rest of the colleagues who wanted some...ridiculous. 
They sacked the warehouse manager and got a "Supervisor supervisor"... What a joke! He was useless, he sat in his office on YouTube watching the staff on cam, better off at Tescos security. The warehouse operative was changing shift times on agency staffs work which made them get short changed. You were on their watch list if you had more than one picking error, any agency staff that argued or had an opinion won't get contracted or sacked. 
I had to leave, they were treating the hard working warehouse staff like rubbish and the office staff like upper class citizens.

If it wasn't for the people I work with I would of left earlier, the job is a pretty secure one but for the amount of work you do and the salary you take home and on top of that a severe lack of job advancement then it can take its toll after a while.
The management are good but there is a really bad warehouse/office divide as both departments are in two different locations on the site. This has only become like this since a new building was developed and both departments are now apart from each other. 
The warehouse workers are now isolated and there is no warehouse manager to speak up for them and it feels like there is no direction. The management spends less then 30mins each day in the warehouse and then come down really hard on employees when they make mistakes. This is mainly due to a lack of any management in the warehouse and its pretty sad as they are such a great hardworking bunch of lads

Given 5 minutes training and sent out to work. I had so many drops on the truck that I didn’t even have time for a proper break and when I told the Manager on the phone he said “I know”, yet he didn’t do anything about it. Sent to places where there was no one home and then was told that the customer had asked for heavy steel to be handled off by the driver on my own. Texted me an address for a collection and was the told to pick up the collection from another town. Manager’s didn’t seemed interested in the plight of the drivers. I was also given paperwork for products that weren’t loaded on my truck and when I told the office they wanted to know where it was. I wouldn’t bother with working here, stay in whatever job that you’re in.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing it's awful stay well away. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Terrible management. You are constantly being watched by your manager.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Bad management right at the top. Director ignores the bullying culture of managers. You are told that the company supports a no customer care attitude. Terrible computer system, customers that have issues with orders are just ignored.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Terrible, worst company ever. You are watched by your manager which makes you feel very uncomfortable.

A typical day at work for me was working with heavy machinery such as a crane, fork lift, ban saw and chop saw. I learned how to deal with customers services and also participated in manual handling.My management at the job was satisfactory.I enjoyed the culture throughout as i had a good team around me and hard working people like myself.The hardest part of the job was the manual handling such  as carrying heavy metal and large pieces of mesh.The part of the job in which i found most enjoyable has got to be communicating and interacting with varieties of people and cultures .

What is the best part of working at the company?
The equipment and the building are modern.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You constantly have management breathing down your neck. Constant micromanagement and pressure from above.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Environment is a typical steel stockholders, loud and dirty, that isn't a problem.
The culture is toxic. The management quite simply are bullies.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come to work, get every part of you picked apart, go home. Usually late.

The staff were great, and the workload was fine, however the management treat you less than human, ou can't take complaints higher up the chain of management because they block requested meetings. They outsource all HR stuff to a 3rd party so nothing you report ever gets looked into or sufficiently resolved. Overall, they are the worst company by a mile I've worked for and I wouldn't recommend the place if it was the last place employing in the world. 

It seemed good on paper but the place total shambles poor management lack of training expect you to do overtime with no pay dont follow health and safety empty first aid kits no risk management plans.
I eventually got sacked as i had forklift driver knock some steel beams on my feet which i was off for 3 months not able to walk got compensation then they sacked me making up a list of lies i was happy to go horrible atmosphere and feeling there 

Possibly the worst job I have ever had. They expect 100% commitment on your part, but give nothing back in return. Management are self-absorbed and inept, and the shop floor workers are treated and regarded poorly. Staff turnover appeared to be very high which is never a good sign. If you like being taken for granted and paid peanuts for slogging your guts out, this is the job for you.
