Working as part of a team or by myself,ultimately responsible for the well being of everyone on site or attending the event.Liasing with event organisers,local council officers and elements of the emergency services(when required).There is no typical day because every event is different so you learn to be very adaptable and think on the spot.As a team leader i was asked to manage upto four medics and be responsible for all medical kit issued and VHF radios.My co workers were from different backgrounds but mostly ex services and armed forces members from whom i learnt a great deal.The hardest part of the job was dealing with intoxicated people,dealing with them on a medical basis requires a different skill set that can be very testing and the best part bof the job is easy;helping people who are ill or injured.

Lovely management who adhere to their own high standards and strong work ethics. They don't ask anything from staff that they don't give themselves.  They have always been supportive. 

No day is a typical day as you never quite know what situation you're walking into.
