Having only started with the firm in June 2022, there have already been endless career opportunities. During my interview process, I got a good outline of the role and team structure and what processes I could implement. Within two months, I had settled and my processes were put in place. The Senior Management team listen to your career progressions and let you achieve them!

I love coming in everyday and working with my team. We work closely with the Chief Executive and his team and thoughts are always welcomed by all.

I liaise with Head of Departments on a regular basis but even when speaking with other staff members, everyone is friendly and there is a good sense of happiness within the firm.

I have never once looked back at joining Flint Bishop and I hope my career is a long one here.

Since working at Flint Bishop, I have been given the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities. This have not only allowed me to progress however also enabled me to diversify and expand my skill set. The management team are supportive and encourage employees to work to the best of their abilities. In addition to this, the day to day environment and culture of the firm is great. The firm is very charitable to the local community as well as looking after it's employees, including monthly food on the firms, providing discounts and giving each member of staff the day off for their Birthday (to name a few!). I am proud to work at Flint Bishop and look forward to my career ahead. 

Management don’t listen to you when you bring a concern to them. Any choice is made to serve the client not the employees. Constant turnover of staff due to being underpaid and working all hours. People crying on meetings due to the stress to be told we’re all in the same position so you need to deal with it. No staff socials as everyone wants to go home after work or needs to do overtime to get up to date with workloads. The staff are expected to put training plans together and train new starters with no work being taken off them to do so.

A pleasant and modern office with good firm wide values.  A successful business boastful of big name clients and impressive profits.  The firm are huge believers in diversity and are renowned for their zero tolerance in prejudice and discrimination.  Great dynamics within teams.  I received regular praise for recognised efforts, for over-achievements and for performance levels, but would have liked to see reflection of this in my salary. One small pay rise in 8 years.  Overall an enjoyable and great place to work.

The high volume of calls dealing with debt in a time when people are struggling 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s good but management need to work on people skills

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stresssfull they are now timing toilet breaks

The office is small, no lunch area or car park. High case loads and team members are not replaced when they leave. Supervisors don’t care about mental health and will bombard you. Lack of appreciation and you are only told your faults. Left feeling like you are just a number and not valued. Micromanagement to an extreme level. 

A really nice place to work! I really enjoyed my time there and I think for any law students wanting to gain their knowlege in the legal world I would encourage them to take on an internship here!

Will tell you it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a law degree but it does! 

Dodgy people with too much power it’s just a contact centre avoid at all costs nobody was happy working here

Don’t even apply unless you want to have a law career in debt management.

Awful place to work makes you very unhappy. Micromanaging like your in school
