Managers are often old boys who both a backward thinking and struggle with technology. The senior manager do not like young blood trying to help give ideas to help the company succeed and often state they only started using computers in last 5 year's

Leads are handed out unfairly and if you new it is very difficult to gain coms

Some managers are very good and there to mentor you and assist you but other and often most senior ones will stab you in the back or play Chinese whispers about you to bosses to get you in trouble and try and have your removed 

Country wide the umbrella company are horrific giving pay guarantees then after a year of service and with making more than £150,000 in commission for company the deduced all of my holiday commission of (£1,850) and final pay of £2300 so total of £4,750 upon resigning. After i left I received threatening letter to pay back further money other wise court action would be taken 

It is no wonder country wides share so often fall if they turned this culture around they would do so much better

There was not much contact with colleagues, aside from collecting the leaflets (with a quick word on where to distribute them) and then again when filling out a payslip. The manager whom I had most contact with was a friendly and charismatic individual, who made these interactions relatively enjoyable however. 
The main skill learned during this role was that of time management- As I was at university at the time so I had to balance my time between my studies and course deadlines as well as between the deadlines for distributing the leaflets.

I worked at Gascoigne-Pees every Saturday for 9 months. The whole time I was there, I was constantly reminded that my job was at risk, and eventually I was released with no notice due to the nature of my contract. The HR at Countrywide (owners of GP) was awful, and twice I was paid a month late, and they currently still owe me July's pay (writing this in September) which was my last worked month.

I have worked here for nearly 10 years and have enjoyed my experience working for this company. 
 The pay is reasonable, and offers good prospects. There is a great network of offices that offer support via several brands. 
The senior management are great and understanding, and have an great ethos.
 I would recommend working for this company, if you want a career and a company that gives you room for progression.

The working environment at Gascoigne-Pees is one of hard working target driven individuals but who maintain and good sense of humour and cameraderie. I geatly enjoy working for Gascoigne-Pees.

I was working as a lettings negotiator in the busy Kingston office, my day to day tasks involve holding the morning meeting once a week, cold calling, arranging viewings, diary management & Carrying out viewings.

The office its self was fun however higher management were sexist. MD had no estate agency experience, countrywide was a great place to work with amazing training sadly that went down hill 

I joined this company on a part-time basis during university. There was a great working atmosphere within the team and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
