Although I've loved working for them, there are so many improvements this company needs to make to stop making staff leave.

Your under appreciated, there's several staff members who are deemed the favourites of the company and you can see it as they seem to get all the advancements. 

Pay is shocking, they get you started on a good wage but then that practically stays the same throughout your employment.
The only enjoyment I got whilst working was the people. The actual retail staff are amazing and they will make your work life better.

Management are awful, offer little to no support and when they do it take a lifetime to happen. 

Higher management I couldn't fault but in terms of area management I wouldn't leave the company and rejoin on that basis.

This company is a joke!

They do not care about there employees and only care about making money.

Staff are paid very low wages and expected to go above and beyond there job role with no acknowledgement.

Everyday is the same and no room at all for development.

Staff are told to leave if they have an opinion.

The whole of the customer care department has left the business due to the way they have been treated.

We are told to lie to the customers about pretty much everything!

Glad I got out when I did!

Working with ghd was a great experience overall. The pay was very competitive and the perks were excellent — including free hair straighteners and access to high-quality products. The training provided was thorough and professional, which really helped build confidence and skills when representing the brand. The role did involve a lot of travelling, which could be tiring at times, but it also gave the opportunity to work in different locations and environments. Overall, it was a rewarding role with strong benefits and great brand exposure.


Love working for this company. There is always someone to speak to if you need help. The pay and bonuses are amazing. The training you receive about the products is incredible so you are full of confidence to sell them. There is a great balance of work and life I never have to take my work home with me. Progression is encouraged and you are fully supported if you want to do so. 

ghd is great a place to work, you are always made to feel like part of a family no matter which department you work in.

There is always something new and exciting happening which gets everyone involved in, it also has a great employee benefit programme for 50% discount off any electrical.

No day is the same and it's a really great atmosphere to work in.

Worse management team I have ever worked for. Didn’t have a manager for 3 months and probation was extended as I didn’t have a manager (  no fault of mine). Person I was meant report was field based and never answered my phone calls and couldn’t approve my probation end. 
There is no progression for you if you are not willing to go with the flow. 
Work life balance is very poor

The management was amazing and has built an amazing supportive team. Training days at head office was always fun, and you’d always leave with a gift of some sort. Incentives to make working towards targets for fun and you’d always always get recognised for your hard work. 

Decent pay, great work life balance and a supportive team. Benefits and perks are good too. 
Management was fantastic and accommodating. Free products and very good discount on their products which is great for hair enthusiasts. 

Joined a few years back and what a breath of fresh air! Great working environment and every voice is genuinely listened to - Changed my life forever for the better - Come and work here if you get the opportunity!

Repetitive , boring, but good work life balance. Poor management but friendly overall staff. Could not have worked there any longer due to repetitive tasks. no progressing but good if you want a comfortable job.
