A typical day at work requires me to set the room for an fucntion whether that function be a wedding/prom/christening/afternoon tea/civil partnership/breakfast/lunch/birthdays/charity/discos etc. I learned how to work with speed and to multitask as whilst i recieved tasks from my managers I would also be given requests from customers all whilst I made sure the room remained to a acceptable standard. Working at Hardwick has taught me to work as part of a team and also as an individual. The hardest part of the job was the clearing down the functions and setting up for the next morning. This was the final stage of the shift; which were usually over 10 hours. The most enjoyable part of the job would have to be some of the interesting people I had the chance to meet and speak to whilst working.

Really enjoyed working here as no two days where ever the same. Got to meet new people every day and find out there stories. Great set of work colleagus and the managment was always easy to work with and helpful
A typical day here would be to welcome customers, carry their bags, clean room, serve drinks, keep a high level of cleanliness, maintenance jobs, working within the restaurant tending to the
customers needs
You learn a lot working in a stately home such as proper etiquette
and how to efficiently run a bar, mix drinks and serve customers. Also gained experience in working within a restaurant and the challenges that entails.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The staff and surroundings it’s a beautiful building set on the edge of a lovey park 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Busy periods are super busy but with the help of your colleagues you’ll get through it 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Nice environment the clientele are generally very respectful 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I no longer work there but you would hit the floor running when you arrived for your shift

This has to be the worst place to work full stop! The management never know what they are doing or can never be found when needed. Expect to be working long hours and don't expect breaks! Most of the staff are friendly and that probably the only plus about the place! 
The hotel itself it ran horrifically I honestly don't know how it actually fumbles it's way through the days!

This may be a first job or a part time job but you will enjoy it. You will make lots of friends and more than likely see them outside of work. The management are a great team an are willing to move you into different roles within the hotel if that is something you are looking for.

Fun work place with supportive management. Very busy environment with 170 weddings per year and at least 1 function every Friday and Saturday. Lovely grounds and setting right next to Hardwick park. Strong, polite and friendly work team.

Great place to work in which I learnt so much with being supervisor. The most enjoyable part of this job was how busy it could get but everyone would be able to work their own positions and there wouldn't be a worry or a weak link in the team.

At Hardwick each day is different, jobs vary and staff are like a big family! I have learnt a lot about customer service working at the hotel and know i'll miss the people!
