Havebury is a great place to work, everyone is so friendly and you are made to feel comfortable from day 1.

The management are really good and will listen to any ideas that you have. The extra activities Havebury put on are a highlight including; hot chocolate stations, notes to make you smile on your desk, BBQ's and Christmas activities.

Flexi time is also a great bonus and Havebury will always accommodate parents/careers where possible.

During the coronavirus pandemic I have never felt more supported by Havebury and they have gone above and beyond to ensure everyone can work to the best of their ability whilst at home.

Too much pressure and not enough people on the ground to do all the jobs. Over the years I witnessed my partner to get up during the night to go and work. As the stress levels were so high, they could not sleep. My partner also took the computer with us on the holidays to keep up with incoming e-mails. In the last few months all went rapidly downhill. My partner is never home on time, always late off. This means that the family life is on me alone. I really would not recommend this place to work – you will get ill and potentially destroy your marriage.

It was a great place to work to begin with, but gradually good managers forced out and so called ‘trendy’ changes being made by the new director that mean work/life balance isn’t great. Job titles being changed to pretentious Americanised ones, Flex hours now gone, no overtime pay allowed even though you are told to do the extra hours to get the work completed. So potential to be working for less than minimum wage. No development in people anymore.

Workload, Communication between teams. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very positive, fair, respect and engage.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Non stop and it had finished in a flash.

Working at Tayfen House was good until management decided to cut hours and left staff with no choice but leaving. No communication and zero willingness to listen to staff. Management is willing to loose good and passionate members of staff for the "business needs'. Very disappointing. 
Residents are the only reason why staff still go to work.

Havebury goes above and beyond to provide staff with events in the office and external, evenings out and volunteering days. The whole company has a great attitude and people enjoy working here! The only downside is that some roles aren't as flexible as they are advertised to be

Love working at Havebury. Hybrid working so great work/life balance. Supportive colleagues and room to progress. Would definitely recommend working here.

Poor management, never listen to the workforce and management cut alot of corners to save cost. They get alot of contractors in that don't have the right attitude to the job, alot of back room deals with management and their contractor friends.
