I loved my interview down to the start of working at Hawes & Curtis. But just a month down the line the manager left of which was very sad. I was suppose to have 4-days a week but new manager rules it was 3 times a week. The new manager was equally as nice but left me on probation for months for no good reason rather than an excuse because they didn’t feel i was cut for the job, despite offering store training of which was not given. But the staff were there were kind and it felt almost like family. At times very toxic as there was a staff member who was paranoid every time i spoke to the manager which made me very uncomfortable. Some staff were preferred a treated better. 

It was a very demanding and challenging. Targets were given each day and with teamwork they were achieved. Managers motivated the staff to work efficiently. Co workers were brilliant. Hardest part of the job was not being able to meet targets due to lack of footfall in the store. The most enjoyable part was being able to meet customer demands and putting a smile on their faces because of this. I have had a lot of returning customers which is a great achievement as it shows great customer service skills.

A typical sales assistant jobs, working closely alongside customers advising them fit/style of the shirts and suits we have, good training in fitting customers suits and customer training.
Also learned how to send end of day and weekly reports on sales, and offered training on visual merchandising.
Management and co-workers are very easy to talk with and get along with, and also very helpful.

Engaged as part of an in-house scrum team of 4-6 working within a hybrid (Agile-Scrum/V-Model) development environment, alongside off-shore teams and tasked with testing firm’s newly revamped online retail platform, testing all new features, regression testing existing features and also ensuring online content mirrors all in-store offers (special offers, promotions, prices, sales etc)

This work experience build my confidence a lot as I managed to build my skills up in using editing software's, this made the images aesthetically pleasing that my work produced over the period of time I was there went up on their website. Also it was insightful to me as I managed to learn a lot what it is like to work with people.

Great place to work, fun staff and good team work. The staff benefits, biscuit barrel, cheese, fruit and wine Wednesdays were amazing. Best place I have worked for looking after their staff. 
Allowed to listen to your own music on headphones. Everyone is happy to help you at all times.

The day starts off with cleaning, general house-keeping and making sure displays are all merchandised. Replenishing stock 2 or 3 times a day. Merchandising Stock. I learned very high-class level of customer service. Management seemed fair and satisfactory. the most enjoyable part of the job was wearing a suit to work everyday.

Potential to be a good company however the head office either have no clue or too much to say, the company is loosing profit each year and continue to expand

I throughly enjoyed working for the company, I was a floating manager, from store to store which I enjoyed has I met lots of people in the company not forgetting the customers I met which I built up a Raipur with, I enjoyed working for the company it was a shame I was made redundant.

If you are willing to compromise you will learn a lot, takes a lot of your time though. 
Also it can take a lot of your time so try to do less days but more hours and that gives you time to rest.
