I am a focussed professional with experience in sales/account management plus independent estate agency, excellent people skills, business objectives, plus a high standard of exceeding and achieving operational targets. 

I treat my role as running my own business; my amazing performance has allowed me to win monthly, quarterly and annularly incentives within my present and past roles.
I excel in a position that allows me to build-up an effective, long-term relationship with selected Key Contract Accounts, achieving company goals is a must.
I see that the more effort I put into my job directly links to how successful I am. I take full responsibility for my results and I am eager to shine as much as possible. My main driver is my target and results themselves, if I ever miss a target my disappointment is in the fact that I missed a target and not that I have earned less money as a result.

Hitachi is a clean environment with good canteen facilities. The work is small components at a fast pace. There is a lot of form filling in for parts checks, machine checks etc. There is very little communication between management, engineers and shop floor which causes friction. All the operators are great to get on with, are witty and good at their job, they constantly hit targets. The interview process they use would suit an astrophysicist but is great when you are accepted, even for the most menial job.

I am very sad to have to leave Hitachi but as I am doing a Law degree in September, I simply cannot work full-time anymore otherwise, there would be no chance I would leave! The people are absolutely amazing and they make it such a nice place to work, there are always chances to advance in your career or have a change in career. Management in Hitachi are fantastic, always on hand whenever you need them, and not just managers but friends too. Always have a smile on my face, even on a Monday, and that is saying something!!

Lied to by management here.
Was on a temp contract and they got rid of a number of us a week before Xmas.
Strongly advice against working here as a temp.
Given the worst jobs and not looked after.
I worked here for 15 months and never missed a day and in the end was lied to and treated with no respect.
Awful company that pretends to have Japanese values like honour honesty and integrity 
You will find none of these here.

Unfortunately this place lucks of a mission and a vision.
Management is poor and there is not a meritocratic environment.
People grow in position because they just stick around and they establish their culture as the overall organisation lucks of values. 
Staff turnover is about 2 years as if you are ambitious and you respect yourself you can not stay in such a place.

If you are looking of job security it is the place to be. The no ownership no accountability approach works really well here.

Worked here for 3 years as a contractor and was a very warm welcome from all the staff and management at all levels.
The working hours I was given were excellent.
Its a culture of 1 team which is great.
My days varied in what I had to do and also the work was very interesting.
Although I was a contractor i was included in everything and was asked for my opinion on how to carry out some tasks. I would of stayed here but my company lost the contract so had to move on.

Disappointing, the premises was really uncomfortable and the management was unprofessional.

Bad management, totally unaware of what was happening in their absence.

Poor, uncomfortable, very restricted.

Mostly boring as there wasn't much work to do.

Despite the Hitachi name plate this company has a very small minded, superficial attitude towards its staff, a legacy from the days when it was known as TRE at Bradford upon Avon. There was growing resentment between the newly opened Derby office and its headquarters at Bradford upon Avon. The management at Bradford had an unprofessional attitude towards its staff in Derby, their insecurity resulting in poor decision making.

Providing planning lead and carried out engineering and building planning duties, while also providing support to the Project Manager when required. Provided construction planning at prequalification, tender and contract stage by developing an accurate assessment of sequence, methodology and time. Prepared tender programmes, method statements and required support information. Inter-phased with bid managers, estimators, designers and project leads. I also carried out the following:

Having spent two months recently employed as Receptionist I have to say this is a solid company to work for but unfortunately there are just too many old fashioned employees who resent change and this was the sole reason for my quiting so soon. There are opportunities and management are very supportive but be prepared for those spiteful individuals who don't want a fresh face or inspiration because they don't want to work for a wage.
