This was my first job after leaving school and I was really excited to work for a reputable well known company.
Unfortunately this was managed poorly. I would turn up for very early shifts, having travelled to Long Eaton only to be told that I wasn't needed for that day and had to come home. Obviously not getting paid if I hadn't worked.
When I was on site at a well known hotel chain delivering mattresses, I was put with seasoned workers that did not take the time to show me how to do tasks and how to lift heavy mattresses on my own.
Instead comments were made which affected my confidence.
It has taken me doing other labouring jobs where I have been offered really good support and guidance to realise this wasn't the best experience to start off with.

I’ve had some jobs but this one at Hypnos beds was by far the worst place I’ve ever even been let alone worked. I worked the night shift making mattresses which you got a ridiculously low amount of minutes to complete a mattress which you have to literally throw together to achieve. No care at all goes into the work because you get no time. They mention a 5 day training plan when you start. They gave me 1 day.  You are worked to the bone for the money you get! Long hours. 97% Romanians and Polish. 4 English people out of well over 100 haha. Even the management were foreign so they always look after their own.

As the title says it’s a job and in the current climate that’s the main thing but as for any form of job satisfaction there is zero the working conditions are what you would imagine a Victorian work house to have been like. The pay is very poor for the work you have too put in the morale is very low amongst the work force there’s a lot of misery put into every expensive mattress definitely wouldn’t recommend a job at Hypnos if you have any other options but at the end of the day it will help pay the bills

my typical day was to make sure we had enough materials to do the work at task. I had to run machines and make sure everyone had plenty of work and made sure the work was carried out to the best of my ability. the mangers was great and had a laugh with one or two of them. met some great friends who I still keep in touch with. the hardest part was when the machines kept breaking, I loved working at Hypnos as I had a few laughs and made fantastic friends.

The worst company I have ever worked for. I highly recommended avoid working here if you possibly can. Management are evil, will make up lies about you and others. Not confidentiality - your personal information is shared amongst colleagues. If you dare speak up and say your not happy about something expect to be ridiculed and sacked. They are ruthless with sacking people, they will find a reason too. The MD is very strange, all I will say is ladies be careful. 

would love to work there again some day in the future i started from the bottom and got my self to materials manager and they also gave me a fork lift license. hands down the best company i have worked for and recommend going there to anyone they to tend to your every need.

Enjoyed working for hypnos. Never get bored or tired of it. Loved it and I miss it

I would not recommend going for any jobs in this company.  the company does not care about their employees at all. 

Thier salary is below average. They expect so much from you. At the end they will kick you out because you were two minutes late for your shift.

Safe yourself from this company.

A terrible company to work for. I worked in the production department and it was so bad. You get no training, they expect you to work like a robot by timing you, you are constantly watched on by supervisor/management to see whether your working or not. The pay doesn’t reflect how hard your working. Seriously, there’s so 
many better jobs out there don’t waste your time here.
