Lack of planning and communication, meaning everything was last minute and rushed 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic work environment - its very much an "us and them" situation with the marketing heads and director, you are lucky to be involved in any form of friendly conversation with them. The director in particular will just walk past you and ignore you daily.

No career progression in Marketing - unless you're a manager/head of dept, they get promoted all the time 

No salary reviews - you will have to fight for a pay rise and then there is still no guarantee 

No accountability from management

Work-life balance was non-existent, they will expect Ideal to become your life 

Loyalty to the brand is NOT rewarded, they will just take advantage of you  

Good work is not rewarded or even acknowledged - Don't expect a thanks for going above and beyond, they won't even notice, but they will pass the blame if they make a mistake

No yearly team thanks - Don't expect a Christmas do, you won't be getting one, they literally don't believe in rewarding the team, ever!

Good pay with a week of days and nights. Management has changed massively over last couple of years .new management have no empathy  or respect to any members of staff it's all target based your monitored consistently with your login card you need to hit targets on your line individual done by your clocking card  failure in hitting numbers they will get rid of you without any warning  after a few weeks if your numbers are not improving to their targets this is 100% a fact. they will have you out .no correct training . Quick turnarounds that are against the law finishing at 5:30am Friday morning back in 1:30pm Friday . A contract that was made in discrete years ago . No contract with company unless you are there 2 years with agency. 

Absolutely awful time here. People hired and fired constantly due to seasons - they hire September/October time and by March 90% are gone, even though they provide a contract they always find reason. KPIs at the call centre are the most strangest I've seen, there's quite a lot and the structure seems somewhat ancient for the type of work we do. They allow you to provide feedback anonymously but this is never taken on board. Management/team leaders come and go like flies. They are really not LGBT friendly, in fact I'd say they are opposite of LGBT friendly as women must wear a certain uniform even in the call centre but men can wear what they want? Very confusing workplace. Also not disability friendly, I wouldn't recommend.

I returned after a hiatus (and medical condition that prevented me from carrying out a more physical role) and stepped back in to a role I had undertaken years previously.
Training in my department was good overall, although quite a lot of it I already knew with working for them previously and also the qualifications I had.
If you put the effort in you get your rewards, and they also look after staff (I have a disability and they support me with having time off due to the illness and also medical appointments) 
Working as part of a team is something I thoroughly enjoy as well as being able to pass on my knowledge to other new starters

the company makes horrid desicions in the contact centre, such as hiring temps but letting them go just before their busiest season, only to outsource its labour for that season. this outsourcing was not able to handle the simplest of jobs so I dont know how they expect it to handle the full role. my manager however, in his first management role, is deeply caring of his team. he will do anything for us and stick up for us against the brass.

The hours and pay and it was a convenient location for me.

The staff and sometimes the customers.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very b**chy, very cliquey, very fake and phoney! 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Honestly it’s boring, easy job and good money but mind numbingly boring

Very poor management haven’t got a clue how to run the business, treat workers badly , agency can forget about a contract even if u do get one u get a weeks notice , don’t care about your personal life . Just a matter of time before they lose all there workers , it’s boring no room for progression , if u want to walk in a circle for the rest of your life then this job is for you …. Good luck 👍

Having to experience people loving their power trips and not leading the team but just managing.. Turn over off staff due to the lack gas engineers at peak times increasing pressure on the call centre missing their targets

Hard going some days, it’s non stop when on the cells, short strict breaks. First break is nothing more than a toilet break. Management seem like they’re just walking around looking for people to sack half the time

Easy work when you get used to it . But always laying off , repetitive and draining with alternative shifts would recommend as a stepping stone salary  to use to learn more outside courses ect.
