the day to day running of the school premises, security and maintenance, both ad hoc and planned.
liaising with outside contractors and obtaining quotes/tenders for works/maintenance required. ordering of day to day consumables for example cleaning materials. Updating of COSHH data and ensuring all relevant health and safety legislation was adhered to.
I learnt that even though suggestions were made in regards to health and safety these were "put on the back burner" as it was a case of do as I say, not as you want/need to do. Certain aspects of management, especially communication was lacking from certain areas. co workers were in my opinion uninterested in the finer points of the role, and were more interested in what they were doing, not operating as part of a team.
The hardest part of the job was trying to adhere to sometimes unreasonable timescales for tasks to be completed, and getting people to understand the full scope of the works required.
The most enjoyable part of the job was helping the children and seeing them enjoy themelves

The Inspiration Trust offers a lot for teachers in way of development, community and meetings. The Trust has an excellent sense of vision and I respect how it follows through. I would say if you are an enthusiastic, open minded and friendly teacher the Trust would be perfect for you. 

I would say, if you want to apply for an administrative job in the Trust, make sure it's in a school. You would get more connection, growth and community.

The role is extremely demanding and fast-paced, with unrealistic expectations. Working by the clock is not beneficial and certainly causes undue job-related stress. Graduating pupils in reading is the most rewarding part of the day, although other issues as mentioned does not create a culture that focuses on staff well-being.

Multiple leaders, intermittent strategic planning, unsupervised new leaders allowed to approach staff in their own way without monitoring. great when working with people who understood what you did and could do

Lovely staff who are very dedicated to the pupils we work with. Many go the extra mile to support hard to engage pupils. Most staff are very passionate about teaching and getting all pupils to participate

work time of my life staff very two faced caretaker always sturring up trouble behind your back it made me mentually ill the staff were always sniping behind each other and the caretaker was a troublemaker but they just turned a blind eye to him

Inconsistent communication from SLT

Toxic, business like, your just a number

Great place to work, CPD is very good. I'm currently doing a middle leadership course. Most enjoyable part of the job - making a difference to the children's and families lives who i work with

Terrible organisation,underhanded management,when they want somebody out they make sure they find a reason to get rid of you using underhanded technique
